Once there was a clan,
Strong and brave,
Together they stood,
Protecting the Royal Heir.

Peacemakers,
They were known to be;
Magic swirled around their fingers,
The world was theirs if they wanted it to be.

The most powerful was a child
Borne by the Chieftain's wife.

Blessed with eyes of the forest,
Woven in her hair was darkness,
That gave perfection to her face,
So pale, so fragile,
She looked.

But fools were the ones,
Who thought her as weak,
For she was to be the strongest,
Strongest of them that had ever lived.

She was but a girl,
When the clan was attacked;
The vicious demons,
Showed mercy, no regret.

They burned the beautiful lands,
To ashes;
There was nothing left there,
They moved to the Prince's wedding day.

Little did they know,
The Wife had escaped,
With the little girl,
Hidden in her chest.

But she was wounded,
And alone, and sick;
She couldn't rest,
Till she delivered her girl,
To her destiny's gateway.

The girl cried,
When her mommy told she was gonna leave her.
Her mommy kept smiling,
Brushing her hair off.

Lying the dirt,
mommy whispered,
'You will forget me,
My little girl.
Forget till the time comes.'

The girl promised her mommy,
She'd not forget her;
But mommy gave a smile,
And shut her eyes.

The girl cried and cried,
She fell asleep,
Next to her mommy's corpse,
Seeking warmth that she was no longer capable of.

She woke up one day,
Sun hitting her face,
She didn't know where she was,
These lands didn't look familiar at all.

She wore a pink dress,
She didn't remember wearing at all;

Her memory was blank,
No thoughts about her past;
Except one that spoke to her,
Telling her the love she yearned for
Will come to her.
