3.6 The Bitch and Her Shameless Prince

"Wife, we are here now" Mo Fan patted Piper's shoulders to wake her up. She was currently sleeping while resting her head on his shoulder which made him happy

"Already?" Piper said in a drowsy voice while rubbing her tired eyes. They were not as red as before luckily, or else everyone would think that she was possessed by a demon

"Yes" Mo Fan passed a cup of water to his sleepy wife, and she gulped it down in one go. Then he went out of the carriage and held out his hand for Piper to hold. She grabbed it and hopped off the wagon elegantly.

"What an extraordinary palace" Piper looked at the Emperor's palace and couldn't help but awe. She had already been here when she visited the Empress Dowager, but this place still managed to amaze her. It was not golden or decorated by shining gems. It was just huge and beautiful. She had to admit that she liked the ancient Chinese architecture style.

"If you want to then I could make this your new home" Mo Fan chuckled. For his wife, he could do anything. Even though he didn't want to be Emperor, but if his wife wanted to live in the Emperor's palace, then he could become the Emperor. 

"No, I like it simple and cozy," Piper answered as she looked at the big and mighty palace. Wouldn't it be way too annoying to walk long distances? What if you just want to go to the toilet and then you end up walking for 10 minutes. By then you probably would've already pissed yourself.

"Hm, if my wife says so" Mo Fan smiled. What his wife wants is what he wants. 

Piper and Mo Fan then walked into the palace to attend the banquet. It was just a party that the Emperor had arranged for entertainment a couple of times a year. Important figures would be invited to this party, and they would all prepare something for the Emperor. Piper had also prepared something for him

-In the banquet hall-

The people were all sitting in their seats waiting for the few people who had yet to come. The party would officially start in 10 minutes, and if they didn't come by then, they would face punishment. The only ones who had not arrived yet were the prime minister's daughter, Li Meirong, the crown prince and the 4th prince and his wife.

Soon they heard the doors open and a very handsome young man came in. They all stood up to bow for he was the crown prince, Mo Yifeng (A/N: Lol I forgot his name, so I had to go back to earlier chapters to check what is was xDD Sorry crown prince-sama xDD)

He excluded a strong aura of a leader as he walked in. Indeed a crown prince they all couldn't help but exclaim in their hearts. Mo Yifeng kept a natural face, but on the inside he was ecstatic. He just loved the stares of awe people gave him. He was the mightiest and strongest one, so it's only right that they all look up to him. He smiled a little and then sat on a seat closer to the Emperor's chair to show that he was superior to the others. 

Soon after the doors opened again and this time an elegant woman came walking in. She was so stunning that people almost forgot to breathe. She wore a pink dress which made her seem like a very pure girl. Her hair was put in a bun with many hairpins sticking out dangling around her head. It showed that she was quite a wealthy person. This woman was, of course, the prime minister's daughter, Li Meirong. One of the top beauties in the country and voted as the number one woman that men wanted to marry. 

Li Meirong smiled elegantly and greeted the royal people. She then took her seat and laughed secretly in her heart. She loved the stunned expression on everyone's face as they looked at her like she was a goddess above goddesses. It was only right because she was the most beautiful, pure and beautiful woman in the country. No, in the world (A/N: How to not be arrogant as hell)
