As soon as the group reached home and Midori found out what the commotion was about, she pounced on her brother. Her legs wrapped around his waist as she clung to his back and began pulling his ears and shouted 'Giddy up pony! This is the only thing you're good for!' which sent Lusca almost into convulsions. Where did his daughter come up with this nonsense?

With that thought, his eyes trailed over to Laeksces and gave him a raised eyebrow. He held his hands up with wide eyes.

"I swear I never taught her such atrocious behaviour. Clearly that was learned from my brother," he said in defense.

Tullius gave his brother an incredulous look at being blamed for their daughter's wild antics.

"How could you not even tell your baby sister?!"

"You're only younger by barely a second!" Motoki was attempting to shake his sister off his back but found that beneath water it was impossible.

Carmen shyly walked forward to tug on Midori's Merfolk skirt. It grabbed her wife's attention enough for Motoki to get her off his back; he swam to his Father's side to avoid anymore humiliation from the 'women' of the family.

Lusca rolled his eyes at his son before turning to Midori and asking, "Will you help me with figuring out the decorations for their bonding ceremony? King Morven has tasked me with all the details.. yet I've never held a bonding ceremony here before, nor seen one."

Midori blinked her beautiful mismatched eyes before smiling. "Of course I'll help. It's not every day my twin gets bonded to his mate."

Motoki seems to begin mulling something over and gnawing at his lip. Lusca could see his son was worried and wanted to reassure him if needed.

"Motoki, come with me to your room," Lusca said after a moment of deciding.

Motoki didn't argue but instead lead his mother to his room before they both sat on his 'bed'.

"What's wrong? You seem as though something is bothering you," Lusca said to start off their conversation.

Motoki seemed to slouch a bit as his thoughts focused on the biggest issue going on in his head at the moment. "Midori has Carmen and you have both Father and Dad.. However, I'm afraid Merial won't be able to follow me as your mates do for the both of you. I'm scared of us parting and I never seeing him again."

Lusca blinked a few times before leaning forward to hug his son. Even though his son was so old, that didn't mean he didn't need the comfort and reassurance of his Mother.

"Remember that I was able to bring you and Midori along because I had begun gaining powers of a Minor God? It has been over a millenia and the amount of Source Energy I have amassed is more than you can imagine. I believe that if I perform the rites at your bonding ceremony I will be able to forcefully bind your souls together to transcend space.. My only problem is not being able to give you a concrete fact on whether he will join us in the System Space or enter the next world like your Fathers do," Lusca reassured his son.

Motoki looked at his Mother with hope filling his eyes. "Really?"

"Truly. I know that I can merge your souls but I can't give you solid facts in regards to what happens after we leave here. Will this help ease your worries?"

"Yes," he answered.

"You have to understand that we will end up 'dying' before Merial does. However, due to you being soulmates, he will follow closely after your death."

Motoki had actually forgotten that the Merfolk were actually immortal but his Mother would automatically get booted from this world within 5000 years of arriving. It was extremely hard for Merfolk to have children so during this duration he would need to have at least one child with Merial to continue to royal line before his passing.

After that, Motoki left the room and everyone proceeded with their days as they attempted to brush off the slightly depressive mood that had shrouded them.

As the world continued to spin and everyone enjoyed the languid life they were given, time passed them by. Motoki held his bonding ceremony with his Mate and had shocked the entire colony of Merfolk when the Goddess of the Ocean came to bless them herself. It had been the first time since she had gone to sleep that their 'Mother' returned to them and gave blessing to a union of Merfolk.

Everyone constituted the blessing to Motoki instead of where it was actually due but Lusca wasn't all that concerned. He had actually been visited by the Goddess one night and she had thanked him for his help.

Surprisingly, she had known that he wasn't a part of this world but hadn't cared about the logistics of it all. She was merely happy to see the Ocean revived to its original splendor and her people were happy and healthy.

When it was time for them to leave the world, the Goddess returned and allowed for Tullius and Laeksces' soul to leave their shells to follow Lusca into his next life.

Motoki and Merial had two children with her blessing and during the many years of them loving one another, had told him of his impending departure from this world. Merial had agreed to leave behind this World to follow him into the next life since their Children had grown. Motoki knew his children wouldn't follow them but he was content to allow them to stay and live eternally alongside the Merfolk.

Lusca merely felt his body lay down before he was returned to the System Space. His children both blinked a few times in surprise when they realized they were already back within the System Space.

"It looks like it was five-thousand years exactly at this time and we were automatically kicked from the World," Lusca said.

Both his children seemed to not have truly listened to him and were sort of in their own worlds. Carmen was snuggled into Midori's side and Motoki was staring off at a wall as he felt the loss of his Mate.

Lusca let out a sigh before laying down on his bed and getting some rest while he could. It was soon to reach the more difficult worlds and he had merely gotten lucky that he held the knowledge from his original world to assist in the past events. Without it, it would've been near impossible to complete his task so easily.

A/N: Sorry my updates have been slightly erratic. I've had such a terrible time with sleeping lately that I felt off and couldn't seem to muster up any sort of imagination. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the chapter. I know some may think 'these chapters and arcs are so short' but honestly as I've said in the past it's merely a rough draft and sort of similar to the 'skeleton' of the book and later on I'll add the 'tendons, muscles, and organs' to it.. Best I can explain honestly. . >.>
