Anagapesis
(ana-ga-PE-sis)
(n.) no longer feeling any affection for someone you once loved.• • •
it was as if my hopes were decaying
along with my undying love for you
played with my affections, you ripped me
your hateful heart never came to my viewyou burnt my wings with your cruel eyes
the ashes made my open wounds throb
split my optimism, you buried my dreams
my weak lips suppressed a choked sobfeelings were mine though it was for you
but you were starving for power not love
stained my soul, you bruised my bones
and chained my naive mourning dovemy weakness was your strength to fight
in a battle where I was defenceless
stole my spears, you broke my armour
you strangled me until I was senselessmy stubborn soul still didn't give up
my crying emotions fought your venom
ignored my lament, you forgot just one thing
that my smile is my greatest weapon• • •
betrayal will make you stronger, remember that.
with tonnes of love,
SweetSimu.
