"H-hyung?" I whisper, petrified as I cling to his shirt. Namjoon and his small crew of thugs haven't moved for a while now meaning we couldn't get up from our hiding spots just yet.

"Tae, shh it's okay. They'll eventually move," he pushes my fringe away from my forehead, smiling gently down at me.

I was glad to have Hoseok with me, I feel safe when I'm with him. I give him back a small smile to assure him I'm okay before tuning back into the gang's conversation a few feet from us.

"God! I don't understand why I can't have a fully functioning group?!? You two messed up when it came to the kidnapping." I knew that Namjoon was speaking to Jungkook and Jimin which meant that both men were present.

"And you!" There was a pause, "you had to fall in love with such a weak little brat, I swear-"

"-Just leave them," a voice sounding horsed and rough growls, my eyes widen when I recognise it.

"Yoongi..." I whisper causing Hoseok to look down at me before leaning his head slightly to peak back out once again at the men.

So he's alive?

"Where would be the fun in doing that?" Namjoon chuckles.

I wasn't able to see the men so I just had to go by the sounds of their voices but I could tell Namjoon was probably looking very serious with that sadistic smirk slapped across his lips, hiding behind those shades like the coward he is.

...But aren't you being a coward right now by hiding?

A frustrated groan was heard before Namjoon mumbles, "come on, lets check in that direction since they're clearly not here."

I hear shuffling of footsteps trampling over the leaf littered ground, slowly beginning to dissolve into the distance. I crank my head round just enough to see them disappear behind a cluster of trees directly across from us.

My stomach churns when I catch sight of Yoongi's back, his arms were still tied behind his back while he's held by his shoulder by none other than Namjoon.

"There gone, come on." Hoseok mumbles, once there completely out of sight, making a move but notices I'm struggling to get up.

He sighs, turning his back to me before crouching down, "get on."

I blink, staring at him with my lips turned downwards in confusion, "w-what?"

"Taehyung this isn't the time to be asking questions! Hurry the fuck up and get on my back now!!" Hoseok raises his voice in annoyance, obviously wanting to get the hell out of here before the others come back.

I flinch at his words before trying what best I could to get onto his back, my arms wrapping around his neck while I cling to his shirt.

Hoseok picks me up with ease, sprinting off to find an opening. I breathe in his scent, realising his current appearance is a lot different than how I remembered.

"Hyung?" I whisper close to his ear, my chin laying against his shoulder. "Yeah?" He huffs slightly, trying to keep his breathing at bay since he was not only carrying me but running full speed through a large forest.

"You look...different...did you gain some weight?" I question, seeing that he was no long a twig. He was still slim, a lot slimmer than an average person should be yet definitely had some chub beginning to form back in his body. He also appears and smells as those he's had a shower and his hair oddly seems less overgrown now.

"I did," he answers, continuing on, I could faintly hear the sounds of cars close by making my heart leap at the idea that we might finally be safe.

"but...how?" I wanted to ask so many questions right now, I was confused.

How did Hoseok get the keys so easily from them? How did he manage to gain weight when they hardly fed us?

He sighs, "Tae right now isn't the time, I'll answer them later but for now we need to get to the road, it's not far now."

I nod, letting Hoseok concentrate on his running and breathing while I lay sadly on his back,

I'm happy to be leaving that awful place, another minute there and would've been beginning to wonder why I'm even still alive...but I don't want to think like that, I miss my parents, I want to show them I'm okay...I want to stay alive for them.

But why do I also feel sad about leaving? Am I crazy? Have I lost my mind?

Is it maybe because I don't really want to leave Yoongi behind?

"Tae! look!!" Hoseok's voice snaps me back out of my thoughts, pointing happily at the road in front which is currently empty, no cars in sight.

"If we keep walking down this road, we're bound to either catch a ride from someone or hit civilisation at some point." Hoseok smiles, I couldn't help but smile also,

We can do this!! We can get back to our old lives again!

Hoseok steps onto the road, walking down it while still holding onto the under part of my thighs to keep me from falling off.

I groan slightly, my mouth burying into the back of Hoseok's neck as a shooting pain pierces up my back.

"Hang in there Tae, I promised you I would keep you safe and bring you back to your parents and I'll be damn if I don't keep that promise."

I faintly smile against Hoseok, my eyes oddly feeling droopy as I snuggling into my hyung's back more.

I try to fight the exhaustion but after being raped and then dragged for miles through a ginormous forest, it kinda wipes you out.

My eyes slowly close, the sounds of Hoseok's feet pattering on the road and his soft breathing sends me to sleep.
