Elena's POV
"Hey Reece can you give me a ride to work?" I asked
"Aren't you quitting?" He asked
"Yeah but I need to get my paycheck and go to the bank" I sighed
"I can take you to the bank afterwards" he offered
"Nah it's good" I smiled "thanks I'll go grab my phone"
We got into his car "so why you quitting?"
"Everyone there pisses me off" I said looking out the window "it's like 'oh damn I broke this! Let's call Elena up to fix it and possibly take the blame if it's permanently broken' it's bullshit"
He laughed a little bit "well they sound like dicks"
"Well they are" I smiled looking at him
He began laughing "the look on Sophie's face when you threw that lemonade at her"
"She deserved it!" I defended
"You have a point" he looked at me "she could've hit you"
"Oh well I already have a bruise on my jaw" I frowned
His grip on the steering wheel tightened "your dads an ass"
I nodded "I agree"
"Here we are" he looked at me "see you at home?"
I nodded "bye" I ran inside "Bobby!"
He walked out of the kitchen "Hey Len"
Yeah he calls me Len for some shitty reasons. A customer called me Len one time and it really pissed me off.
"Can I have my paycheck?" I asked
"Yeah" he handed it to me "see you around"
I smiled and walked outside. Now to the bank we go! I know a good shortcut through the alleys! I'm so awesome!
Reece's POV
He shot the guy and I looked at Dylan "what the hell man!"
"I didn't- He has our information. He knows who or families are. Your family... Elena" he said
I stiffened "wait what"
"He's not the only one who knows either. He gave the information to people, bad people" Kayne said looking at me
"Why Elena though!" I yelled
"Because you were seen with her" Dylan sighed
"But she's already going through a lot! She can't go through this too" I growled "what if they hurt her!"
I heard a loud scream. We darted down the alley to see Mark top of someone with a gun to their head... that someone was Elena
