Chapter 41 - Meet the Ikagami's

"Y-you want me to come with you to your house..!?"

"Yes...Would that be alright?"

(So that, means I would be introduced to her parents as her boyfriend, right?)

Just thinking about it makes me nervous.

But I have been thinking that I should see them.

"Sure, it'll be my pleasure."

"I'll go with you to your parent's house next Sunday." I joyfully replied.

I suddenly remember something.

She's been awkward to her father ever since, but she says that she gets along with her parents now..

And then, Sunday came in like a flash...

I'm about to go to Reimako's parent's house, just as I promised.

We depart from the Famille'.

Feeling nervous I walk a step behind Rei.

(My heart is beating so fast just thinking about going to her parent's house..)

"My mother and father are both very kind people."

We walk for another ten minutes, talking as we go.

"Whew."

"We're here."

"We're here?!"

(It's this close to Famille' huh, a 20-minute walk.)

(So this is Rei's house.)

It's a small, stand-alone house.

But it looks warm and inviting.

"Come on in."

"O-okay..."

She opens the door with a click.

"I'm Home~!"

"S-Sorry to intrude,."

Her mother rushes out from a far corner of the house.

"Oh, My~ Welcome home Rei! We've been waiting for you."

"Ehehe, well I'm home now."

"I'm Ririko Ikagami Reimako's mother, please make yourself at home, Mina."

"I-I will t-thank you for inviting me."

Reimako's father pokes his head out from upstairs.
