Saihara's POV:
Bringing my own motive video, I head up to Ouma's room. He handed me the room key so I would be able to get in.

I walk inside, taken aback from how messy it got since I left. The bed wasn't fixed, with covers all over the place. There were some clothes on the floor, even my own hat on the ground, which was kind of odd. The whiteboard he had was still there, but it was different than last time. Kaede's photo was now on the top left corner, with an arrow pointing to Amami. Oddly enough, Tsumugi's photo was also pointing to his too. Was that supposed to show... Kaede killed Rantaro? But then why is Tsumugi's photo also pointing to his?

I shouldn't leave him alone for so long. I need to get his motive video.

I didn't watch my motive video yet, because Ouma was in my room, so I decide to watch it now. It says "Kubs Pad" on the back in fine print. "...Kubs Pad?" When I touched the screen, the device cane to life and started playing a video.

"Alright! Back by popular demand, it's time for the motive video!" On the screen in colorful letters, it read "Kaito Momota's Motive Video". But... why Kaito's? Is it supposed to be mixed up? "Who's the most important person in *your* life? And now, without further ado..."

"Kaito...?" I mutter in surprise as a picture shows up on the screen. It's... Kaito with his grandparents. They're all smiling happily.

"Kaito Momota, the Ultimate Astronaut..." Monokuma continues. "Thanks to his exceptional talent, this young man is already an astronaut trainee! Wow! Our team has managed to score an exclusive interview with his grandparents. They miss their grandson terribly, and hope he returns to them safe and sound. But don't just take my word for it! Let's hear it straight from the source!"

Straight from the source...? Does that mean...?

"Kaito... as long as you're alive, I don't need anything else," his grandpa says.

"No matter what happens, you must live," his grandma says. "You must never give up. Please, live on... for our sakes too."

"Their only wish... is for Kaito to live," Monokuma says. Ugh, your voice ruined the moment, Monokuma. "Will Kaito be able to fulfill his grandparents' wish? Ah, yes... One more thing... Shortly after this interview wrapped, these old farts suffered an unfortunate accident. What kind of accident? It's a secret! Find out for yourself! Puhuhuhu..." With that, the video ends and the screen turns off.

"What... was that? That was the motive video... Even so, why do I have Kaito's?" I say to myself. Maybe they're supposed to be mixed up? But... this would mean a lot more to Kaito then it would for me. Perhaps it was a mistake?

I grab Ouma's motive video, accidentally turning it on in the process. I shouldn't look at his, but curiosity gets the better of me. I eventually peer at the screen.

"Alright! Back by popular demand, it's time for the motive video! Who's the most important person in *your* life? And now, without further ado..." Monokuma says, the motive video starting out the same way as Kaito's.

"Eh? It's Ouma's?" I mutter in surprise. The colorful letters read out "Kokichi Ouma's Motive Video".

"Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader..." A photo of a bunch of people in masks shows up, with Kokichi at the center. "As the Supreme Leader of a secret organization called "DICE," he and his organization went wild throughout the world. In accordance with their two main mottos, "no murder," and "commit laughable crimes," this fun-loving band of jokers kept committing their prank-like crimes, and were known as "DICE"... These ten excellent followers worked together with Kokichi to form a group of eleven people. To Kokichi, these people were friends bordering on family. They were his everything, the absolute most important people in his life, but...
How could this be?! It certainly seems as if they met with an unbearable outcome of some sort, but... Puhuhu!!! What happened to them is a secret. You've gotta find out for yourself!"
