After practice, me and Kyle go to his house.
I greet his girlfriend Mikayla of 2 years, these guys have been 'friends' since college. Mikayla is a WNBA player for the sparks, shits crazy how that played out.
"You guys hungry?" She asks
Kyle looks at me. And nods.
"Yeah" we both say in unison
"Then cook." She says and we all laugh.
"Chicken sound alright?" She asks
"Ou, bro you gotta try my girls chicken." Kyle says, I need me a Kyle and Mikayla type relationship.
"Yeah fasho." I approve.
"Zo you still lonely?" Mikayla asks
"Always And forever." I reply and chuckle.
Kyle laughs.
"What you need to do is get Mya Brande again." She says
"Oh trust me, I know." I say
"Then do it." Kyle says
"Bro she just got out of a relationship like 2 months ago." I say
"Alright, before the seasons over." He says, knowing for damn sure we're making the playoffs with our current 4th seed.
"You still like her right?" Kayla asks, love actually.
"Yeah." I say petting Milo their dog.
"Then what are you waiting for?" She asks
"To be honest Mik, I don't know if she even likes me anymore." I admit
"Why?" She asks grabbing something from the fridge
"I don't know." I say

"IM A SEVEN FIGURE, SELF MADE NIGGA." Mikala sings as we make our way to the mall
After the song she turns it down.
"Let's talk about you and Zo." She says
"Okayyy." I reply
"What's up?" She questions
"We're friends." I start
"Is that all YOU want to be or do you want it how it was?" She asks
"If I'm being honest, I never really thought I wanted him again, but I do." I reply
"Okay. But?" She asks
"But, I'm scared." I say
"I get it, it's gonna take a while to get trust back but. You'll get it if you love him" she says
"And take it slow." She adds
"Next, how are you and Gelo?" I ask
