After the festival, things resumed back to normal. Tests were being run, things were being explained and time was slowly passing by. Recently, Kyanna had gotten into contact with the Paladins, they were explaining that they were hatching a plan to finally take down Zarkon. They said that they would need support and so Kyanna sent some of her generals and army to aid in their fight and help them prepare. In the meanwhile, (Y/n) and The Duchess still has much to prepare on their own.

"Kyanna?" (Y/n) came knocking on the door leading to her grand hall. Inside were a few civilians, looking for help amongst their leader. Her purple eyes looked up to meet with the girl's (e/c) ones. She flashed her a welcoming smile then signaled her using her hand.

"Be right there." She said. The girl, who was slightly behind the door to the grand hall, had now completely entered the hall. Shutting the door behind her, she waited patiently for the Duchess to finish whatever business she was attending to at the moment.

"Here, this should help you with your troubles." Kyanna placed her hand on the child's broken limb, and it was magically healed. Just with a small flash of white light and a steady hand. But this didn't surprise the girl at all, she was well aware that Kyanna had this ability. However, she didn't know why.

"Thank you so much!" The mother, supposedly, of this child said.

"It's nothing. I'd do anything to protect my people." Kyanna said. She cared for her people's well-being greatly, no matter what race they were. Soon, the child and mother had left. The girl greeted them as they exited and once they did, (Y/n) had walked right up to The Duchess.

"What is it?" Kyanna asked in a sweet tone.

The girl had managed to evade the man, and quickly made a b-line for the escape pod in the underground "lair". She hopped in swiftly, flipping switches and fastening herself into the seat. Her fingers brushed over the communications button, and she tried to get into contact with the Paladins. But to no avail.

"Damnit!" She cursed under her breath. The pod's door began to close shut and she readied herself for take off. In turn, a large escape hatch, which she didn't even knew existed down here began to open up.

"Ok...here we go." She said to herself as she placed her hands on the steering. And just in a couple moments, the girl had blasted off into the sky. As soon as she entered Espore's atmosphere, her eyes and mouth went agape. It was just like that attack, many nights ago. The sky was filled with an ash grey, on the surface she saw multiple fires which made her stomach churn. She began thinking about all the innocent civilians, all of those lives being destroyed. And all because of that Heir!! But, in order for her to get out of this, she needed to concentrate.

"I need to contact the Paladins!" She said lowly to herself and clicked a few buttons to try and get into contact with the castle-ship. But to no avail. All that came through was static. Her mind became jumbled again. Things began swarming her mind and it all became painful. Like a constant ringing in her mind. Everything was buzzing, and vibrating.

"What the hell!" The girl said, her voice full of pain.

"(Y-Y/n)...(Y-" A voice came through her head but it was barely audible. She could hardly hear it. As it did, it felt as if a knife was being stabbed right through her skull. Pain began to scramble her thoughts, but she had to keep going. All the while, Galra fighter jets began to swarm her escape pod.

"Of course! Out of all times!" She mentally cursed and began maneuvering herself out and away from the jets speeding after the girl. They were able to get a couple of hits in, the girl wasn't exactly known for her excellent piloting skills. She cursed under her breath every time she felt the pod take a hit, causing her anxiety to rise and her head to hurt even more.
