Song of the chapter - Exorcism by Clarity

Blair

"Your group promised you'd take out the Saviors but you all failed, so now. We all don't know each other and you are nobody to me and I... Am nobody to you guys." Gregory said to all of us as he stood, hunched over his stupid table. I stared him down as he eyed us all, looking at us like we're some stupid squad.

"We want to kill the saviors but we can't do that without an army, now can we?" "Unless you want them to hoe them to the ground then here, is your army. Who the hell would train these people?" Gregory answered back and a lot of people spoke up but Carl spoke above everyone else.

"Me and Blair will! We're teenagers who can fight and if they don't need anyone young like us then what? We have Tara and Daryl too." "Ooh, see I like your confidence, kid. Blair's too. When she was here just with Maggie and Sasha, she threatened me a few times, but damn she has a mouth on her." Gregory starting speaking like I wasn't right beside Carl.

"Would we not be better without the saviors, yes or no?!" Rick yelled at Gregory, trying to change the subject. "Yeah, sure. Okay." Gregory said, leaning back in his chair, acting all smug. "So, what will you do to fix the problem?" Michonne said, laying her hands on the table and staring straight into Gregory's eyes. "I didn't say we had a problem. You did."

"What the hell man? Your either with us or you ain't. Your sitting over there talking out of both sides of your mouth." Daryl spat at Gregory and he started to get out of his chair. If he was planning on hurting or starting a fight with Daryl at all, he's fucked.

"I... I think I've made my position very clear. And I want to thank all of you for not being here today and not having this meeting with me or being seen on your way out. In other words, go out the back." Gregory said and everyone started shuffling towards the door. I stayed still and kept my arms crossed.

"Babe, come on." Carl said, trying to tug on my shoulder. I sighed and looked up at him. "You go. I'm gonna talk to him." "You know nothing you say, will change his mind Blair, he'll keep being the prick he is-" "-I know, just let me talk to him. I'll be out in ten." I said and Carl nodded, just before walking out.

As Rick and the other exited the room, Gregory eyed me down, probably wondering why the hell I'm still standing here after he gave the instructions to leave. "I'm guessing the rules don't apply to Teens like you?" He said and I cocked my head at him. "No, they don't. Not now, anyway." I said and walked over to the seat in front of his stupid desk.

"What made you stay behind sweetheart?" "Don't call me sweetheart. You don't understand what it's like out there, do you?" I said and crossed my legs, staring at the prick in front of me. "I believe it's quite deadly-" "-Don't be a prick." I spat at him and he sighed, staring at me once again.

"Look, Brooke. I don't know what you expect me to do because these people don't fight or win any battles. Even if the saviors die, your big, bad dad will come after me for getting the people of hilltop, on him. So, you understand, it'll come back on me." He explained but all that replayed in my head was, 'bullshit'.

"Your so full of shit. Your gonna kick two pregnant women on the road, back to Alexandria, the place where there's no medicine or doctors." "I do what's best for my people Beth-" "You do what's best for you and no one else! Your selfish and stupid. Stupid will get you killed one day... and you WILL get killed one day, trust me." I spat at Gregory and he didn't know what to say after that.

"Do you think your strong?" He asked me and I frowned at him for a second. the honest answer was, I didn't think I was strong but I'd hope I was to certain people. "What-" "-Do you think your strong? Or the strongest person in your group at least? Because what I see, is a stupid, pointless teenager with no clue what side she's on. I've heard what's happened with your dad and everyone has to be honest. But one day, You'll break physically or, emotionally. You want to hear my opinion?"

I listened to every word he was saying and I know it's all right but not the one about the sides because I know who's side I'm on. I put my head down and felt tears fall down my cheeks. "You are a stupid knocked up, teenager with no clue what she's still doing alive. You remember that night with your own dad, what he done to you. How can you possible still be alive Betty. To be honest, your life is pretty pointle-" I cut Gregory of with a punch to the jaw and he raised his hands to his mouth, holding it.

"My name is Blair. Not Brooke, Beth or Betty. And I don't need you to tell me how pointless my life is right now, because I know myself that I keep thinking on ending my own life but I remember my child, Carl and everyone else in my family here. And family... Is a thing you'll never ever have because your a lost cause..." I said and stared at him once more before walking to his door and leaving the room.

I slammed the door after me and wiped away my left tears. I seen everyone standing outside by the door so I walked out, following Carl, standing beside him. "What's this?" I asked, motioning to the group of people, standing in front of us. "The hilltop people, Enid put in a word and they want to fight with us." Carl said and I nodded. "Good."
