Your Pov

You sit alone in Varian's old lab, before he went to jail. You both were friends before he turned evil and you were still friends then but when he went to jail you stopped sending him your letters but he never stopped writing. You sit on a wooden stool with his letters all in a pile on a desk near some chemicals. Picking one up you open it and read the words written on the piece of paper. Hey (___) how ya doin? I'm doing fine but the food sucks hehe. I hope to see a letter soon. It's okay if you don't want to talk to me after what I've done. Im sorry and I miss you and your company. <3 <3 Varian. It reads. Tears form in the corners of your eyes but you wipe them away. "I watch the city burn, these dreams like ashes float away, your voice I never heard, only silence!" You sing softly as you skim pages of letters. "Where were you when our hearts were bleeding, Where were you! It all crashed down, never thought that you'd deceive me, Where are you now?" You get up and walk towards the still trapped Quirin and touch the Amber which is as cold as ice. "How long can you stand the pain, how long will you hide your face, how long will you be afraid? Are you afraid?" "How long will you play this game, Will you fight or will you walk away, How long will you let it burn, Let it burn, Let it burn" You trace your index finger across vines and wooden desks as you slowly walk around the room. "I watch the city burn, these passions slowly smoldering, a lesson never learned, Only violence" "Is your world just a broken promise, is your love just a drop of rain, will we all just burn like fire, are you still there, tell me now... can you stand the pain, how long will you hide your face, how long will you be afraid, Are you afraid?" You walk into Varian's old room and see some charcoal pencil drawings of you and him together with ruddiger in different scenarios. "How long will you play this game, Will you fight or will you walk away, How long will you let it burn, Let it burn, Let it burn!" You start to mix chemicals racing around the room but dodging the mess and rocks that crowed the area. "Will you wait until it all burns down, Will you hide until it all burns down, Will it hurt when it all burns down, Will you fight when it all burns down?" You remember when Varian became your friend and all the times leading up to the present day. "Will you stand when it all burns down, will you love when it all burns down, will it end when it all burns down, will you just let it all burn down?" You pour the multiple viles of coloured liquid into small little jars and put corks on top to seal them in. "How long can you stand the pain, how long will you hide your face, how long will you be afraid, are you afraid, how long will you play this game, will you fight or will you walk away, how long will you let it burn, Let it burn, Let it burn!" You shout.... Well more like sing, while walking outside of the half destroyed home. "Let it burn!" You sing with tears falling on your cheeks into the soil beneath you as you throw multiple viles at the house. "Let it burn!" You watch the flames engulf the house you once loved. "Let it burn!" You toss all the letters from varian through the broken door and into the home and you walk away through the corona wall and away from your previous life, the flames heat getting softer and softer as you get further from corona and its wall

Sorry if this isn't as angst as many others but it's my first so..... Yeah..... Anywho this is probably my fav song of all time and I really like the band Red. I hope you enjoyed and I'll update tomorrow.
