Ains woke up back in the white space, his expression was emotionless as always but if you looked at his eyes you would see their sadness in them.
Bao Bao shouted gleefully. [Welcome back host! You've completed the main mission and you also completed both of the side missions! Your points total to 275 points! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
Since the world was only a class F world, you were only given 75 points for completing the main task.
But hey host, you can learn a new skill! Would you like to see your options?]
Bao Bao looked back and saw Ains staring at the black ring in his hands. After he found out that his body was slowly dying, he had asked Bao Bao if he could take something from that world, in which Bao Bao replied with yes. But it was limited to only one object in each world.
Ains decided to take the ring as it represented the first time he had been proposed by his lover and it symbolized the love that they had.
[Host?]
Ains closed his eyes and held onto the ring tightly, "System, can I spend some time to myself for awhile?"
Then it hit Bao Bao, his host had developed feelings in the last world and was feeling the after affects of leaving it. Though he wanted to say something he held it back. This was the first time Bao Bao saw just how fragile his host really was.
[Okay, let Bao Bao know when you're ready! I'll always be here for you.]
"Mnm. Thank you."
Ains laid down on the bed and curled up into a fetus position and slept. Ains slept for one whole day before he finally settled his feelings. He slipped the ring back onto this ring finger and kissed it, "System."
Bao Bao perked up and came running like a puppy. [Yesss? I'm here!]
"What are the skills?"
[Here they are!]
A transparent screen popped in front of Ains.

Ains looked at the options and studied them carefully.
"Do you have any information on the next world?"
[Sorry host. Unfortunately, Bao Bao is unable to access that type of information. I can only tell you that that is a level E world.]
Ains nodded and clicked on the third option, martial arts. The screen disappeared.
[Congratulations host, for choosing your first skill! You will be transported to the training grounds in 30 seconds.
20... 10... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0!]
A bright light enveloped Ains, when he opened his eyes once again he was in a large room filled with weapons and a huge training field with dummies at one end of the field. A bunch of data streamed into and formed into a tall man with long snow white haired in black robes and he wore a oni mask.
A mechanical voice sounded from the tall man, "I will be your instructor."
"You will not be able to leave this space until you've mastered all the arts and reach grandmaster level."
Ains faintly reply, "Mhm."
Ains stayed inside of the space training for thirty six years. When he came back, Bao Bao happily greeted him.
[Hehe~ Welcome back from training and congratulations on learning the skill. I'm so proud of you!!]
Bao Bao rubbed himself against Ains' cheek.
[Would you like to take a look at the store or... would you like to proceed onto the next world?]
"Store."
[Alrighty~!]
A large screen popped up filled with various items. Ains looked through the items and saw something that caught his eye, 'Peerless Mask' but the price was 750 points. There was another item that also caught his interest, 'Body of the Deity' but the price was in the millions.
While Ains was looking through the store, Bao Bao was also looking at the system's store. He was looking on the page of the possible vessels. He stared at the body of a elf with short golden hair and grayish hazel eyes, but he sighed looking at the price tag. It was 500,000 points.
Ains exited out of the store and turned to Bao Bao, "I'm ready to go."
Bao Bao nodded. [Okies~~ Transitioning in 35 seconds. 20 seconds. 10 seconds. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0!]
Ains closed his eyes as he knew what was coming. When he opened his eyes again, he was surrounded by a majestic forest with luminescent bugs and plants, the canopy was so thick that the sunlight couldn't penetrate through it.
<System. Relay the information to me.>
<Data transferring in.>
A translucent screen, popped up and Ains started to read.
This world was filled a race called were-cats, besides the humans. The body that Ains was occupying was Sairi, he was the last of the snow leopard clan. He had lived in the forest called all of his life and one day came upon an injured human girl.
He had never seen one before so he was curious as to what he saw, and so he took her. When the human girl woke up, Sairi fell into a trance and thought of her to be beautiful. The human girl screamed when she saw Sairi as his ears and tail were out.
Sairi didn't know what to do as he had never been around another person before, but he knew that she was scared and so he kept his distance from her. Sairi would bring her 'gifts' to try and cheer her up as she would cry and when she was cold, he would shift into his cat form and be her heater.
They spent many weeks together and they grew closer in that time. The human girl finally spoke to Sairi, but in the human language. It was her name, Rose. Because Sairi only spoke in the cat language called felidalis, he naturally didn't understand her.
He imitated her and repeated 'rose' but it sounded strange. A couple of weeks later and they could slightly communicate with each other. Their time together was sweet but it was in her nature that she would feel homesick.
One day, it got so bad that she tried and asked Sairi to send her home. Sairi naturally complied with her wishes and the two set off.
Sairi lived in the inner parts of the forest. The forest was very dangerous and Sairi protected Rose along the way, whenever he retained an injury he would lick it as the were-cats' saliva had a healing element to it.
After dredging through the forest for a week, they finally reached the edge of the forest. There they met with poachers, the snow leopard was a very rare existence and so Sairi was chased after. The two of them ran away from the poachers, but they were unlucky as they ran to a cliff as Sairi hadn't traveled outside of the forest before he was unfamiliar with the area.
To save herself, Rose stabbed Sairi's thigh with a sharp stone and ran off in another direction just as the poachers came close. They successfully captured Sairi and took him back to their base. There Sairi's hellish days came, the branded him with their trademark name onto his body and he was to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
During his time, he would be beaten if he retaliated against the poachers and they would starve him if he misbehaved. The day before the auction, Sairi managed to escape. He ran as far as he could before he collapsed of exhaustion.
