The young man didn't care who it was that he'd struck a deal with. Even if it was the devil or a God, he would have agreed. Whatev...
(A/N: I know you guys are probably itching for some romance. This will be Sairi's 'first' encounter with our ML.)
Lance, "T-the... Silver Reaper?"
Oliver nodded his head. Lance felt like he had just missed an opportunity of a lifetime. Oliver noticed that Rose wasn't with Lance, "Where's Rose?"
Lance smiled bitterly, "When I got far away enough and collapsed, she got off of me and shouted how useless I was. Afterwards, she walked away and left me there."
"It was only after I regained some strength that I came back for you guys..."
Lance could still recall her twisted facial expression as she whispered into his ear, "Go and die, the world only the strongest gets to survive."
He decided not to tell his comrades about what she said, because he wanted to extract revenge on his own. She had used him, used all of them for her own gain. She never truly cared for them. Her honey coated words were all lies.
They were all silent. They thought that Rose was a sweet and caring girl. She wasn't like those female were-cats that they were so used to seeing, she... she was different. But seeing her true face behind that fake facade, they felt angry. Not angry at her, but angry at themselves for being fooled.

Sairi had just arrived at the gates of the City of Ages. It seemed that having a rank was like being a VIP guest. Everyone moved out of the way and even the city guards were extra polite and courteous. Sairi entered the city with no problems. The reason why he came here? It was to challenge Regnier.
He had asked Bao Bao for the whereabouts of the male lead, and chased after him. Because there were too many interruptions, Sairi didn't get the chance to challenge Regnier and pushed his plans back, he didn't want to get involved with that crazy leech like human called Rose's conflict.
Bao Bao had told Sairi, that the male lead was just finishing up his first challenge in a long time. Sairi darted over to Regnier, he couldn't give others a chance to challenge him, otherwise they would thwart his plans even further.
Sairi arrived just on time as Regnier was just about to walk away. Although, this was Sairi's first time seeing Regnier, it wasn't hard to differentiate who the number one ranked were-cat was. Regnier's stature was extremely tall, he was at least one head taller then Sairi and he had an imposing air surrounding him.
Sairi called out, "Fight me, King of the Beasts."
As soon as Regnier turned around, Sairi felt the strings of his heart get pulled and it started to race uncontrollably. Regnier had a perfect gold tanned skin tone, his long raven colored hair had a gold serpent pin with ruby eyes, some of his loose hair hanged and framed his face, he had elegant phoenix shaped eyes, two warm but also cold honey colored amber irises, and a black dragon tattoo that spiraled around his left arm.
