Wally didn't know what to do.

His best friend was laying on a dirty mattress in one of the abandoned houses and he doesn't even know what's wrong.

Robin can't tell him, he's unconscious.

It wasn't Robin fainting or convulsing that scared Wally.

The blood did.

Blood from the mouth, something inside is bleeding.

Or it was... since he fainted, nothing else has come out.

He still needs to be cleaned up...

Wally tore a peice of his uniform off and sped over to a well.

Thank God there was still water, clean water.

He soaked the rag and then was back at Dick's side in an instant.

Wally bent down and carefully cradled Dick's head in his arms.

He brought the wet cloth to Dick's mouth and slowly cleaned away the blood.

"Hngh..."

Wally's heart nearly stopped.

"Dick?"

Robin's eyes opened a little. He seemed dissoriented.

"Why are we in the Batcave?"

Despite the current situation, Wally chuckled.

"We're not buddy... do you remember anything?"

Robin squinted, thinking.

After a minute he groaned, his face becoming stone once again.

"I guess that's a yes..." muttered Wally.

Robin's fingers twitched and he then realized what position he was in.

"Dude... what are you doing?"

Wally's brows furrowed until he realized himself.

He carefully laid him back on the mattress.

"What happened to you Dick?"

He shook his head.

"I don't know. I just felt a terrible pain and then... nothing."

Wally's mind started turning, he didn't like what it was suggesting.

"Where did it hurt?"

"..."

Something flashed in Dick's eyes.

Fear.

Dick slowly moved a hand down onto his abdomen. Right where he was shot a year ago.

There wasn't supposed to be any long term effects...

Wally's breath hitched.

"Dick you need help!"

"Uh no. Not really."

Wally deadpanned.

"Uh yes you do! You could be d-dying!"

Robin slowly blinked and reached into his pocket. His Titan communicator.

He pressed the button. They can track him.

"There. Help is on the way."

Wally was not amused.

"Alright look, I know you Bat guys don't do hospitals so I'm calling J'onn! End of story!"

Robin's eyes widened and he tried to get up but Wally just pushed him back down.

He called J'onn on his earpeice.

"J'onn I... don't know how to explain but I need you ASAP! You can track the coordinates right? Please hurry and don't tell anyone!"

Wally turned back to Robin.

"I hate you..."

There was no malice. It was playful... like they used to be.

Wally just shrugged and touched his friend's forehead.

He's burning up.

Wally laid the cool cloth back down on Dick's forehead. Hopefully that will help.

"We could've worked something out Rob. You didn't have to leave..."

Dick let out a tired breath through his nose and actually gave Wally a smile.

Like the ones he always used to show...

"Maybe... but you can't change the past Walls..."

A sudden and loud boom completely ruined the brothers' moment and in the next moment, Raven and the other came crashing through.

Everyone looked mad, Star's eyes were glowing.

They all thought Wally did something.

Then someone else came.

A green Martian.

Wally suddenly felt safer with J'onn's presence.

Robin looked at everyone with a pained expression and then groaned.

Screw my life...
