Anna- "Hey want to do something"?
Lissy "Like what"? I asked as I flipped through channels
Anna- "Idk"
Lissy- "Any suggestions"?
Anna- "Go get snow cones"?
Lissy- "Too close to dinner time" I replied
Anna- "Ummmm.....play a game"?
Lissy- "Nah" I didn't want to play a game
Anna- "Bake"?
Lissy- "My Dad wouldn't let us" I said remembering what happened last time
Anna- "Swim"?
Lissy- "Love to but we have to have an adult go with us. And both of our Dads told us not to bother them until dinner" Which was true. We haven't left the house all day. Because they were doing some work. At least they didn't have to leave.
Anna- "Then we can ask them during dinner"
Lissy- "Good idea" i said
Anna- "You ask"
Lissy- "Why me"? I asked
Anna- "Because I don't live here. You do"
Lissh- "What is that suppose to mean"? I replied
Anna- "Its means that you should ask"
Lissy- "Why cant you ask"? I asked
Anna- "I just told you"
Lissy- "Ugghhh.......fine I'll ask. But you better back me up" I finally agreed
Anna- "I will"
-Dinner Time-
Lissy- "Dad"? I said
Dad/Steve- "Hmmmm"? I said looking up at her
Lissy- "Can we go to the beach after dinner"? I asked sweetly
Dad/Steve- "Sorry not tonight" I said. Even though I wished we could but there was a reason why.
Anna- "Why not"?
Dad/Steve- "Because we have some more work to do"
Lissy- "But you guys have been working all day. We haven't done anything except sit around"
Cullen- "I'm sorry but there isn't no one to watch you guys"
Anna- "But why not"
Cullen- "I'm sorry. We can go tomorrow"
Lissy- "But we want to go tonight"
Dad/Steve- "Lissy my answer is final"
Anna- "Dad"?
Cullen- "Anna my answer is the same as Steve"
Lissy- "Come on Dad. I'm old enough" I begged a little
Dad/Steve- "Lissy enough" I replied
Lissy- "Your being so unreasonable. You never let me do things with my friends"
Dad/Steve- "I advise you to stop while your ahead"
Lissy- "Dad please let us go"
Dad/Steve- "Allyssa my answer is final. Now not another word about it. Am I understood"?
Lissy- (No response)
Dad/Steve- "Allyssa when I ask a question I expect to be answered."
Lissy- "Fine"
Dad/Steve- I raised my eyebrows at her
Lissy- "Yes Sir. But please Dad"?
Anna- "Lissy"
Lissy- "Shut up"
Dad/Steve- "My room. Now"
Lissy- "Yes Sir" I said as I went upstairs.
Anna- "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make her mad" I said quietly
Steve- "Its down sweetie. She will apologize to you. Now excuse me"
Anna- "She didn't do anything"
Cullen- "Anna"!
Steve- "Excuse me"?
Anna- "She was just asking"
Steve- "I know but I don't allow that kind of behaviour from her."
-Upstairs-
Lissy- "Dad I'm sorry for the way I acted"
Dad- "Your right on that. I'll tell you two reasons why I'm not letting you go swimming"
Lissy- "What are they"?
Dad- "One is because we have been working on a case involving something down at the beach. Two because it isn't safe"
Lissy- "Oh I see. Im sorry Dad"
Dad- "When I say no to something that means I have a reason behind. I won't always tell you the reason why. But I do this to protect you. Understand"?
Lissy- "Yes I do"
Dad- "You that I love you"
Lissy- "I love you too"
Dad- "Now your going to apologize"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
-Downstairs-
Dad- "Cullen"?
Cullen- "Yes"?
Dad- "Lissy has something to say"
Lissy- "I'm sorry about my behavior and the way I acted"
Cullen- "Its fine"
Steve- "You girls can go to Lissy room"
Anna- "Okay. Lets go Lissy"
