After coaxing the Moon lighting beast for a long time to play on its own Kiyoshi began to read the book. The more he learnt the more surprised he became.

 In the book DARK SOUL it is mentioned that humans can practice two types of cultivation,one was spiritual cultivation another was elemental cultivation.

The spiritual cultivators absorb spiritual energy through meditation to improve their cultivation and their cultivation techniques are similar to martial arts whereas elemental cultivators depend on their specific element to improve their cultivation and their techniques are based on their element.

To become an elemental cultivator they must be born with the power of a particular element. Not every human is born with an elemental power and if there was one then they would be treated like a treasure by every human. So there was more spiritual cultivators than elemental cultivators as anyone can become a spiritual cultivator as long as they worked hard.

Once there was a person who had born with two elements and that person had became the sect leader of the number one sect in the human continent. It can be seen how much humans valued the elemental cultivators but now looking at the book which says Floral race contains all the elemental powers so Kiyoshi doesn't know how he should feel.

He really want to see if it true but thinking that he still need to know more about his own race he forced himself to continue reading. It is mentioned that apart from all elemental powers the Floral race also had the power of nature. This he already know. He could never forget the way the trees ran toward him. 

But he was surprised when he read that demonic beasts love floral race. This had never been mentioned in DARK SOUL but looking at the beast laying near his feet he had no choice but to believe this.

Other than that there is also their healing magic which he already know. There is also the looks of Floral race which is mentioned to be celestial. He skimmed through the contents until something caught his eyes.

It is about the leaf symbol between the eyebrows. The leaf symbol is there for two reasons. One is for their identity as Floral race and another reason is for forming a life bond with their mate. This made Kiyoshi dumbfounded. 

He know what a mate means as he had read many werewolf stories before but he had never thought that Floral race will also have these type of customs. 

Wait doesn't that mean I too have a mate  

But Kiyoshi felt it was not possible as he was originally a 'foreign' soul besides he doesn't even know why he transmigrated into a body which was not even mentioned in the novel.

He felt he won't get an answer even if he wasted all his brain cells so he stopped thinking about all this and continued to read the book.

Time passed slowly and soon Kiyoshi's stomach began growling. Only then did he remember he basically ate nothing from the time he transmigrated here which was nearly ten hours before.

Looking at the snoring Moon Lighting beast which was sleeping with its four legs facing the sky losing all its elegance Kiyoshi rolled his eyes. He cannot believe that he had been afraid of this beast before.

He rubbed his stomach thinking about food. Looking around at all the trees Kiyoshi suddenly got an idea. Just now he read that controlling trees are innate talent of floral race and so he looked at the trees and said 

Kiyoshi: All the trees that can produce fruits come forward.

Kiyoshi suddenly felt like a commanders giving orders to the army. He watched some trees running from who knows where and surround him. Looking at all trees eagerly pushing each other to come in front Kiyoshi again said "Ok, ok no pushing. All of you form a line and stand in order."

The trees really did as he told. They stood perfectly in line before him as if waiting for his command. The Moon Lighting beast which was sleeping soundly was awakened by the noise and when it saw all the trees standing in order it jumped to its feet and ran towards the trees.

Kiyoshi didn't mind the beast and watched all the trees. Every tree had fruits in them but he cannot identify even one of them. He also don't know if there is any poisonous fruit so he got no other choice but to ask.

Kiyoshi: Which of you guys have edible fruit?

The trees that were enthusiastically standing before suddenly became dejected and moved backward. Kiyoshi watched with wide eyes as a small tree proudly came and stood before him. The tree had golden colored fruit which looked similar to apples. 

He looked around and found that other than this tree there is no other edible fruit tree. He felt lucky to have at least one tree so he happily went near the tree and stoked its branch.

Seeing this scene all the other trees became sad and they secretly decided to work hard to make their fruit edible which is of course not possible  ┐( ￣ヘ￣ )┌

Seeing Kiyoshi stroking the tree the Moon Lighting beast which was originally playing around trees became angry. It ran towards him and laid on its four looking Kiyoshi with a puppy dog eyes.

Seeing the beast acting cute for attention Kiyoshi don't know whether to laugh or cry. With no other choice he used his other hand to pet the beast. The surrounding trees seeing this became gloomy.

The beast which was enjoying the petting as if feeling the gloomy atmosphere gave a provoking look at the direction of the trees. Its face filled arrogance basically screamed 'envy the great me'.

Yuki opened his eyes and the first scene he saw was his mate petting a tree with one hand while other was petting a stupid beast with a whole bunch of tree standing in line. His face suddenly darkened.

Don't tell me I have to fight with these pests for my mate's favor
