Three weeks. It has been three weeks since Ae has even seen Pete.

He wanted to die.

In fact, it already felt like he was dying. The moment he met Pete, he knew he wanted to protect him. He wanted to take care of him and he wanted to keep Pete safe. He never expected to be the one that hurt Pete, never wanted to be the one that made Pete question how dedicated Ae was to him. He only ever wanted to be there for Pete, he never wanted to be the one that hurt him.

How rich, right? Coming from the boy that cheated on him. Ae hated himself more than anyone could ever hate him. Tin told Can and quickly after, the monkey boy refused to talk to him which meant Good also didn't talk to him. Techno and Type spent their time reminding him that people made mistakes but he could see how upset they were. Pond only communicated when necessary and while he still had Bow and Ping, the both of them made it known how disappointed they were in him. He didn't blame them. He was disappointed too.

He spent most of his time on the football field, running until he was dizzy. He was used to the world spinning now, familiar with the buzz in his ears and the stumble of his feet. But today was different. Today he ran past his limit, letting his head swim and his knees buckle. The pain was welcome, he deserved it. He didn't expect to fall, didn't expect to hit his head on the ground. It hurt like a bitch but he didn't care. He even thought he heard Pete scream out his name.

His head hurt. It throbbed and stung and he was almost positive he was bleeding. It was so bad he started hallucinating. He only knew that because he saw Pete. There was no way Pete was running towards him. There was no way Pete sat next to him and quickly checked his body.

"Please stay awake, I'm begging you," Not Pete whimpered, hands picking up Ae's head and placing it in his lap. It felt real but Ae knew it wasn't. Real Pete wanted nothing to do with him. "Oh god, you're bleeding." Tears began to fall down Not Pete's cheeks and Ae reached out to wipe them away like he did the night in the hotel room.

"Please don't cry angel, I don't like seeing your tears," Ae whispered, vision blurring and speech slurring. Not Pete got out his phone and Ae closed his eyes. The darkness welcomed him, and he welcomed it, tired of crying tears of a pain he didn't deserve to feel.
