Firefly sat with a shocked expression on her face. Coal sat beside her, fiddling with his talons and looking slightly guilty.

"I know it's a lot to take in at once," He offered.

"Coal." Firefly deadpanned.

"Yes?"

"What. The actual. FUCK."

Coal blinked.

".....I didn't know you knew swear words." He admitted, looking slightly afraid.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Plenty of dragons were surprised to find a group of fierce looking Sandwings entering the Rainforest, and Joy and Glory stopped at the sight of them.

"We're you expecting a visit from Thorn?" Joy asked.

"No," Glory said bluntly. "Were you?"

They approached the group, Deathbringer and six camouflage Rainwings watching closely, ready to kill if necessary.

"Hello there," Glory greeted them regally.

"Uh, Hey." One of the Sandwings offered.

"Can we help you with something? " Joy asked, wary of the group. Small packs of Sandwings didn't normally just walk into their forest.

"Maybe you can," The Sandwing insisted. "We're looking for some dragons."

"Well, that should be easy enough." Glory insisted. "What are their names?" The Sandwings paused, it suddenly occurring to them that they only one one name.

"We're looking for Prince Shore, and the group of dragons that's with him." If these dragons had even the slightest chance of gaining a neutral status in Joy's mind, they just shattered it.

"Why are you looking for Shore?" She demanded, red starting to seep into her scales. Glory rested her tail over her daughter's, a silent warning to stay calm.

"We just wanna talk to him." The Sandwing declared. Another Sandwing snorted and was shoved by the third.

"...I'm afraid Prince Shore isn't in the Rainforest at this time." Glory explained. "Is there a message we could give him?"

"...Do you know where he is?" The Sandwing questioned.

"I'd rather not give out that information." Glory offered. "Is there a message we could give him from you?" She repeated.

"Sure." The Sandwing insisted. "Tell him that he'll get what's coming to him. Drought'll make sure of it." Not narrowed her eyes.

"But you just wanna TALK with him, right?" Joy questioned, sarcasm seeping into her voice.

"What's it to you?" The Sandwing demanded.

"I'm his mother." Joy announced. Glory internally facetaloned. The Sandwings grinned wickedly.

"Well, then you'll do just fine." He proclaimed before lunging toward the princess.

Joy caught him by the throat, pinned his tail with her foot, and dug her talons into one of his eyes. The Sandwing let out a scream and the other two tried to rush foward, but Deathbringer and the Rainwing guards got to them first, and both Sandwings were pinned to the ground, useless.

Glory hadn't even bothered to move, and had a slightly bored look on her face.

"Now," Joy began, the Sandwing whimpering under her hold. "Why are you looking for my son?"

"I'll never tell, bitch." He growled.

"Try again," Joy suggested, shifting her hold on his head.

"Go to hell." He swore.

"I'll see you there," Joy offered. She neatly snapped the Sandwing's neck, dropping him to the ground, and glanced toward the other two, who had horrified looks on their faces.  "Maybe I'll  have better luck with you!" She offered. "Who wants to spill first?"

"We'll never talk!" The one Deathbringer had pinned swore. The assassin let out a laugh.

"Buddy, you don't understand how this works." He explained. "Either you spill the information,"

"Or you spill your guts on the floor." Joy finished.

"I thought Rainwings were supposed to be nice!" The third Sandwing squeaked.

"Oh, we are." Glory proclaimed. "But nobody threatens our family and leaves in one piece."
