The truth is your a damn good guy

You couldn't take the criticism anymore. The press calling you a Gold digger and only staying for Tony's money.

It was too much for you. You have wanted to try and leave Tony because of the criticism. But god damn that man is too fucking nice.

He buys you everything and treats you like everything. Fucking hell.

But I knew from the moment that I meet you this wasn't right

And you had money and cars, looked like a star

You loved me so good, I could cry

Brought me roses and rings, such beautiful things

But I was taught never to lie

You knew if you left him he would become a broken mess. Blame himself for everything. You didn't want him to do that.

You had to explain what you were feeling about it. You couldn't just lie to Tony's face anymore. Telling him you were fine and everything.

He was the sweetest guy you've dated. He loved you truly, his heart skipped a beat when he saw you.

He fell in love with you and you did too. But, some people didn't share the same reaction.

Tony is one of those clingy, gentle guys. He treats you like a fucking queen and it makes it even more harder to leave him.

Not because of the expensive items. But because you know he means well. Everything he buys you comes from his fucking heart.

You hated when Tony would be sad after a mission. You hated to see his bottom lip and chin quiver when he wanted to cry.

His eyes watering as he looked depressed. It made your heart hurt.

Every time you wanted to tell Tony, he'd give you the same adorable expression. Making you loose your mind and forget what you were saying.

He deserves someone way better than you. You thought that. The whole press thought that. The only people who didn't were the Avengers and Tony.

You didn't want to do it. You knew the moment those words would come out of your mouth you would have to see Tony's sad expression.

The tears running down his cheeks and his chin & bottom lip quivering.

Even worse is when he starts begging. You knew what he'd say.

"Was it something I said?"

"I'm so stupid, how could I do this?"

He'd keep ranting on himself. Saying how selfish he is and implying he did something to keep you away from.

You walked over to Tony. Ready to put this relationship away. For his sake. He didn't need you as a burden anymore.

"Tony." You said a sad expression on your face. Tony looked at you. His adorable smile turning into a frown

"What's wrong, babe?" He asked sweetly.

That's when you realized, you didn't want to be the one making him frown.

You didn't want to be the one who makes him cry up all night. The one that makes him feel sad.

You finally look at him and force a smile.
