Dear Diary,
I did't take the bus to Kartik's place, I planned to save as much money I could. Because of me my grandmother is in that state. My selfish desire. But now I won't let this selfish desire get to me.
I reached Kartik's house. Invested myself in doing the chores quickly. I felt his odd gaze while I worked. Like a snake stares his prey, eager for just a moment to bite his prey. But I didn't have time to worry this, Dadi was more important to me than a filthy gaze of a snake.
I finished all the work and told him that my grandmother was ill and I need money. His aura had a suspicious feeling to it. He went to his room, brought the car keys. He said he'll come with me. I sat in the car, at the backseat. He looked annoyed at this but I didn't care.
We stopped at the gate of the hospital and I ran inside. He followed me. And the snake shedded his old skin of suspicion. Before Kartik could make the payment, father came and stopped him. I guess...
