I don't know why but the pain in my abdomen is growing bit by bit. Maybe it's because we haven't ate for about two days. I just want to sleep though... rest..

"Lance?" I hear a distant voice, "Lance hang on, they are just about to arrive."

"Sorry, Keith. I'll be fine."

"It's okay, I got you."

I'm really tired but I can hear the sound of the ship landing right in front of us, I look up to see the entrance, right away Keith takes me in his arms, running to the ship.

"Hey.. I can walk..."

"Clearly you can't, dimwit."

"Hello gentlemen, welcome back- what's wrong?!" Allura asks in a surprising tone

"Lance needs to get in the healing pot right now." Keith answers

"Okay, lets go!"

Now I'm really tired... I'm just going to rest my eyes a bit... Keith is comfortable... good night.

~ Keith's P.O.V

I can feel at ease now that Lance is in the healing pot... damn this guy. Why did he have to protect me? This guy... he got me really worried...

"Worried about Lance, Keith?" Shiro suddenly asks

"... not really.."

"You're bad at lying, you know?" he smiles

"..."

"So what did happen there anyway?" Pidge asks curiously
"We commence our mission but the robots were on the look out so there for Lance and I decided to hide but in the process, Lance got hurt by pro-" I get cut off by Allura
"He's always getting himself hurt. He has to learn how to defend and be more careful. This could lead Voltron into big trouble." Allura states out

I'm fucking annoyed.

"Lance got hurt by taking a laser to his abdomen so that I wouldn't get freaking shot. Don't talk like you know everything." I glare at her
"Keith I'm so-"
"Don't speak to her like that! Respect the princess!" Coran butts in
"I couldn't give less of a damn of who she is. She shouldn't speak without knowing that Lance put his life at risk to save a team mate yet she speaks like he's going to bring down the team because he's simply not good enough as a paladin?" She really thicked me off this time.
"That's not what I was trying to-" Allura tries to defend herself
"Yes you were actually. He's good as he is now and if it weren't for his sacrifices that he has made for you guys, especially you, Allura, you guys wouldn't even be standing here all healthy and undamaged!"

I'm not going to let someone talk about Lance like this. She speaks of him like he only knows how to get hurt and how to get other people in danger. Did she forget that this guy saved her damn life?

"Keith, calm down. Allura didn't mean-" Hunk tries to talk but I cut him off
"Take her side if you want."
"What?" Hunk looks shock
"I'm done hearing that save phrase of "she didn't mean" if you guys wish to be deaf to that, so beat it."
"There are no sides Keith-" Pidge tries to reason
"Clearly there is!" I answer
"Keith, that's enough. You don't need to raise your voice. Everyone else, let's go to the lounge." Shiro steps in
"But Lance..." Hunk hesitating
"Don't worry. Keith will be staying with him. Now let's all go."
"... alright." The group answers

As the others go to the lounge Shiro stands next to me and says, "They are still your team mates, Keith. To make someone understand, you have to be patient and calm."

"We'll be back later."
