15. graduation

15.

This is it. Today is my graduation day. I have dreamed of this day for what seems like forever, but as I'm staring in the mirror at myself, I cannot believe it is actually here.

It didn't hit me until I handed in my final exam a couple days ago— the final exam I studied poorly for— that it was actually happening. It all seems like a blur. The last four years feel like they never happened although I remember complaining it was taking too long.

I have completed university with a degree in Business. What does this mean to me? Honestly, I don't know. I have not the slightest idea what my degree is supposed to do for me. That's normal — I think. I know plenty of people who are just as confused (if not more) than me as to what they are going to do with their lives.

I'm up bright and early and just finished putting on my makeup when I decide it is prime time to tweet something on this glorious day. Although I wanted to be spectacular and wild with my look, I decided to go for a simple one as it's my first time vlogging and I didn't want to worry about my makeup being okay each time I took out the camera.

My new camera captured my whole getting ready process. I saw in another YouTube video that you could do a time lapse and the last two hours of me getting ready could be shown in less than 15 seconds. Technology. I hope I can create a fascinating vlog.

I compose my tweet quickly and read it over ten thousand times before I post it. I can't take my chances these days— I have hit 400k followers on Twitter and 100k on Instagram all from the Taehyung drama. I guess everyone is following me waiting patiently for a sign.

There won't ever be one. Especially after the scary email ensuring that I will not talk about any of the members.

I sigh and just before I click to send my tweet, a notification interrupts me.  Jungkook has texted me. I look at the time— it's 10AM but 11PM for him. He should be working.

J: 졸업을 축하해!!

I'm smiling like an idiot because he didn't forget. I told him more than a week ago but I didn't say a date or anything. Even I had to check on my school website to make sure I knew the day— and that happened yesterday.

J: I didn't forget
Are you excited?

You: I'm so happy omg
aren't you working?

J: I made sure to text you early
I do have to work now ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

J: I can help with video editing right?

I'm laughing loud enough that you can actually hear it. I would pay money to hear him say that to me.

You: what is with you and random English phrases?? hahahaha

You: omg go practice a dance or something  record some vocals

J: I'm waiting to eat food
