I used the word love in front of Tegemi.

But I didn't think it was strange, and I don't regret it.

"Do you really love Tegemi?"

"Yes..." I replied instantly.

Mr.Mikahara turns to her daughter.

With a smile on his face, he says.

She seems surprised at his sudden revelations.

"Would you actually go out with him?" he continued

"You know that Mina and I are just pretending to be in a relationship?" she confirmed.

"Ahahahaha! Her father suddenly lets out a harsh laugh

"I wouldn't be the police chief if one lie could pass right through me." He replied.

"When my daughter is hiding something from me, I know right away."

"Hehe, that's right." Said her stepmother.

"Did...did you know it too? Mom?!"

But...Even so they came here and listened intently.

(They are really kind and understanding parents...)

With my tension and strength suddenly depleted a laugh spills out.

"Tegemi, about that marriage..."

"You don't have to worry about that, I was worried that you'd end up single but I guess I don't need to worry anymore." Said Mr.Mikahara while looking at me.

"I won't force you to marry if you don't want to."

"Dad..." Tegemi said in relief.

"There's nothing I can do about her, once she made up her mind she'd do anything for it, so you have to be careful, Minamino." Said his father while giving me a friendly wink.
