Chapter 17

~*Zay Pov*~

It's five days before Christmas on a early Saturday morning and I had invited everyone over to give them their Christmas presents in advance. Me and my brothers were still at the girls house but I don't think they really care how long we stay. I'm thinking 'bout renting out my apartment and just moving in but Imma talk to Lani first.

Anyway, I had the whole fam in the living room waiting to hear what I got to say.

   "Alright, alright y'all need to settle down." I said clasping my hands together.

   "You need to hurry up so I can go back to sleep. A girl like me need my beauty sleep."

   "Right De'Asia, I don't even wake up this early on Saturdays."

   "Lani and De, y'all still ugly whether y'all sleep or woke."

   "Shut up Drew!" They yelled at him then flicked him off.

I sat back and just watched De and Lani go off on Drew while Jade tried to stop Drew from ribbing them. Mama Lynn and Lu were whispering but it looked like a heated argument at the same time. Layla sat back just laughing like I wanted to but I had to be serious right now.

   "Y'all needs to shut the hell up and let this boy say what he gots to say!"

   "Thank you Sheena." I said nodding my head at her. Yeah, she was here too.

   "Like I was saying, we need a vacation and I think we should spend our Christmas and new year outside the USA." I said looking around at all of them.

   "To where?" Layla asked finally putting her phone down.

   "Ohhhh I know! We should go to Germany!" Jade ole white ass said.

Everyone was looking at her crazy. Lu smacked his lips and Drew shook his head.

   "Hitler ain't 'bout to kill me 'cause I'm an undesirable. Uh-huh, no way master." De said shaking her head.

   "Bitch he dead!" Lani said shaking her head.

   "Ease up uno self!" I yelled once they started up again.

The room got quite and everyone was looking at me. I smirked at Sheena because she helped me learn to say that phrase perfectly.

   "What chu just say?" Lani asked raising an eyebrow.

   "I said 'ease up uno self'. It mean relax yourselves in Jamaican slang." I said covering my ears for what I was about to hear.

The whole room was full of screaming women, except Sheena, and I was happy I covered my ears. They were jumping up and down while screaming at the top of their lungs. It took them five minutes to calm down and hear me out.

   "We gon' be there until the third so thats like two weeks. I need y'all to pack heavy but lightly."

   "Baby, when we leaving?" Lani asked trying to contain her excitement.

I looked at my watch then back at them.

   "The plane leave at 7:15 and it's 5:45 right now. So I suggest y'all hurry up and meet me back here at 6:45 so we can catch our flight."

I didn't have to tell them twice because the girls got up and ran to they rooms as Layla was pulling Mama Lynn and Sheena out the house. Drew and Lu just looked at me but Lu was shaking his head.

   "You did that shit on purpose dawg."

   "What I do Drew?" I asked tilting my head to the right.
