I just don't understand.
I gave everything to you.
I was only 14, you 15 but we were so in love.
How could you let that go when you use to sing to me " I'll love you till the end of time"
I knew time heals wounds.
But I didn't know it makes love fade.
You have given her everything I ever wanted and asked of you.
I got the boy, and she got the man.
With a steady hand, while I got the raging temper.
I just don't understand.
I knew time changes people.
But I didn't know it would make you forget your first love.
