EVERYBODY ABOARD THE OTHELIA TRAIN! WE'RE NEARLY READY TO DEPART~

Third person pov

The horror movie ended, so they switched it to another. And then another after that. It was beginning to get late, but both were pretty sure her home was under watch. It was a honest to god miracle they hadn't been found yet. With Ethelia's chakra, it was probably hard to pinpoint her exact location, and Minato probably didn't suspect she was here. Who would?

"Shiiiit." Ethelia was leaned up against Obito's side, her eyes never leaving the TV screen as she shoveled down popcorn. Obito had an arm around her shoulders, but he really didn't seem to notice their position either, his eyes glued to the screen as he chewed a mouthful of buttery popcorn. Ethelia continued, "This is hitting my hard."

"Not as hard as Troy was hit by Gabriella's 'what about trust.'" Obito said. Ethelia nodded, shoving more popcorn in her mouth. Obito glanced down at her. He seemed to realize that her head was leaned up against him, along with the rest of her body. He didn't say anything, his cheeks heating slightly. He turned his attention back to the TV. If he pointed it out, she'd never touch him or anyone else again.

"He hurt her. I don't blame her. I'd be leaving his sorry ass behind too. Bon voyage, bitch." She seemed to snuggled deeper into Obito as she said this, but her eyes were still on the TV. Obito pressed his lips together, glancing away nervously. "I'm going the shed real tears."

"This is too emotional for me to deal with." Obito agreed. "She's running away. Look at Troy's face. I've never seen someone so devastated."

"A moment of silence for our brethren." Ethelia held up a hand. Obito nodded wordlessly, bowing his head slightly. Ethelia was truly a... different sort of girl, no doubt. He liked that about her. It was what drew him towards her if he was being completely honest. That, and she didn't swoon over Kakashi like every other girl seemed to. It was quite amazing.

"Amen." Ethelia turned to look up at him. "You're actually really warm. Do you need to pee or something, or is that natural?"

Obito sputtered slightly. "You knew?! I thought you didn't realize?!" He almost pulled away, but stopped himself. If she knew and hadn't moved, that meant she was okay with it, right? At least on some level. That or she'd gotten food poisoning from eating tortilla chips off the floor. It was one of the two.

"Of course I noticed. I'm the all seeing eye." Ethelia scoffed.

"Well uh... why didn't you move?" Obito asked awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. She raised her eyebrows at him, the expression on her face bored as usual. Obito took this chance to observe her face. It was a very, very nice face. He quite liked it. He would never tell her that, though. It might upset her or something.

"Did you want me to?" Ethelia began to move, but Obito pulled her back against him before she could. She stared up at him with the driest expression on her face. It made his cheeks go red with embarrassment, and his grip on her loosened ever so slightly. He ducked his head awkwardly.

"Ah... no. I was just wondering." He coughed into his fist a little.

"You have the popcorn." Ethelia said. "It's warm here, and I don't have to reach as far to get the food. That, and you're not screaming in my ear or staring, so I'll label it as a win." She shrugged as though it were no big deal. And maybe to her it wasn't, but to him this was their very first cuddle session. He hoped it wouldn't be the last.

"Well that's good. I like cuddling with you!" Obito's cheeks flared as he said this. Ethelia gave him an odd look as she stuffed another handful of popcorn in her mouth shamelessly, clearly not caring what he thought of her or her eating habits.

"Is that what we're doing?" Ethelia's eyebrows raised before she grimaced. "Disgusting."

"Well, we can stop if you want." Obito panicked. If he made her too uncomfortable, he didn't doubt she'd start to act like he didn't exist. Or worse, she'd start to treat him the same way she shamelessly treated Kakashi. He definitely didn't want that.

"I'm not moving. I'm too lazy for that. And by the way, if I fall asleep here, I'll kill you if you wake me up." She threatened with a hiss. "I am not above murder."

"Got it." Obito grinned. She simply rolled her eyes and turned back to the movie, shaking her head and muttering profanities under her breath. Obito's grin widened, and he pulled her a little closer. She either didn't notice or didn't care. Either one was fine with Obito.
