Y/N POV
It was Jared's funeral and his family, friends and I watched with sorrow as they lowered his coffin into the ground.
Max couldn't stop sobbing and to be honest, neither could I. It was painful to attend one of your closest friend's funeral, especially when he disappeared without a trace.
The man sighed and stood at the stand, eyes scanning carefully through the book to find the script he had prepared. He let out a sigh filled with remorse, "We are gathered here today, not to mourn over the death of Jared Hailbach, but to remember the memories we spent with him."
I let in multiple gasps of breath as I sobbed into Max's shirt, staining it with tears and makeup. His lips met my forehead in an attempt to comfort me as he whispered gently in my ear as to not interrupt the speaker, "shh, take a deep breath...." he choked back a sob and wiped the tears off his face, trying to maintain a face of strength to show how he's not only there for me, but for everyone here.
I hugged him tightly as I quietened my cries, breathing in and out like max had said.
The speaker continued, "would anyone like to say anything?"
I turned my head and raised my hand, making my way forwards to the pillar and positioning myself at the mic, "Jared, I miss you, s-so much..." I sob a little as I sniffle away the tears streaming down my face, "We all do...and I know that you are watching over us with your angelic wings from where ever you are.....you didn't deserve this....oh god I'm sorry Jared!"
I breakdown sobbing as max runs to me, engulfing me in a tight hug as she cries and leads me away.
"You did great," he sobbed, "so please stop crying Y/N"

It wasn't long after the funeral when a group of boys came up to me, offering their condolences and hugging me, giving me some kind of comfort.
Max recognised them and gave them all a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Y/N, this is Danni, Gabriel, Kaito, Sammy and J-James....guys this is Y/N"
My gaze remained on Danni for a while, entranced by his dark eyes.
