Chapter 2: ... Danny?

Where... where am I?

The immediate smell of rubbing alcohol hits your nose and the familiar scent causes your mind connect to a place you've been before.

A hospital?..

You shiver on the cold surface that lays below you. The surface is elevated high from the ground and a bright light shines on you from above.

Is this.. an operation table?

You quickly sit up only to be pulled back by the restraints tight around your wrists and legs. You feel that familiar feeling of fear crawling up into your chest making it hard to breathe.

This isn't good.

You pull harder on the restraints hoping they will loosen, but did the exact opposite.

"Zack!! Zack where are you?" You scream.

"..."

Silence..

"Zack! Help me please!" You shout even louder.

"Oh Y/N... Zack isn't here right now. You don't need to worry about him.". You feel a soft voice whisper into your ear.

Who..

"W-who are you? What's going on?" You quickly stammer while thrashing around. The fear in your chest begins to rise and makes it hard to breathe. The restraints begin to tighten more and you can feel a brush burn forming around your ankles and wrists. Small tears begin forming, ready to fall at any moment.

"Y/N... please don't cry..." He whispers into your ear. "You and your beautiful eyes should always look happy.." he says as he begins to caress both of your cheeks with his delicate hands. He slowly walks in front of you, hands still on each side of your face. You begin to examine the figure appearing in front of you. It's a man wearing a white trench coat with shining glasses set on his face. On his trench coat you could slightly make out a name tag.

"... Danny?" You say quietly.

"Oh! Yes! That's my name, I'm Danny" He says in a happy tone. "No need to be afraid of me Y/N, I won't do anything too painful to you." He whispers as he looks deeply into your eyes. "Oh.. Y/N... your eyes are so beautiful.. I could look at them for days.. years.. forever." He tilts his head as he lightly caresses your cheeks.

You feel goosebumps crawl up from your spine to your neck. This guy is bad news..

"Why.. why am I tied up?.." you mumble.

"Oh, I promise I wasn't going to hurt you. I just wanted to make sure you would.. cooperate with me is all!" He smiles. "Y/N... please promise me you won't leave right? You won't leave me right?" He stammers.

Leave? I barely know this guy..

"Danny I.. I don't know you very well.." you say quietly.

"Y/N, we can get to know each other I promise! Me.. you.. and your beautiful peepers.." he continues to stare at you, entranced in your eyes. A unnatural smile begins to form across his face.

"Danny.. these restraints are hurting me a bit.." you say in a saddening tone.

"Y/N, I'm sorry. Id loosen them but.. I'm afraid you will run away.. I don't know what I'd do if I lose you" he sighs.

I have to do something so he can take these restraints off..

"I promise I won't run away. I'll stay here and won't move, please take them off..." you give him a saddened look.

"Oh Y/N, those eyes are begging to me... I just can't say no" he says as he slowly takes off the restraints holding you to the table.

I have to escape before this guy hurts me.. Distract him. I have to distract him...

You begin thinking of plans to escape while Danny removes your restraints.

"Danny.. my eyes.. they feel dry from crying." You say to him.

He's so obsessed with my eyes, maybe I can distract him this way.

"Oh no! Y/N! Your beautiful eyes can't be dry... This just won't do, I'll get you some eye drops immediately!" He says as he runs off into the back room.

This is my chance.

You slide off the table onto the tiled ground and slowly walk towards the door. Before you could reach the door, you felt a hand grab your shoulder.

"Y/N.. where are you going?.." he growls.

"..."

You suddenly feel the ground disappear from your feet and your back being slammed into that familiar cold surface. You look up at Danny who's looking back down at you, staring into your eyes. His arms are pinning yours to the table. "Y/N... you told me you wouldn't run.. didn't you?.. I don't think you want these restraints on again.. now do you?" He grabs your arms tighter.

"Please let go!!" You scream.

Danny's face begins to contort into the most unnatural smile you have ever seen.

"Y/N... I can't let you go..." he starts to laugh. "We can live together forever, right? Right??" He breaks out into full laughter, gripping your arms tighter.

This guy... he won't let me go!

"Please help!" You shout.

"Zack!"

"You don't need Zack Y/N, you have me. I promise I'll treat you better than he ever could. I'll give you anything you w-"

Before he can finish his sentence, you hear a loud smash. Then a long silence lingers in the room.

"Don't touch her Danny. She's mine" you recognize that voice immediately.

It's Zack!
