Chapter 13

I completely forgot to update yesterday, sorry!🤦🏼‍♀️

I looked out the car window at the Eden club, which was right beside us. Pink, purple and blue lights flooded from inside along with some music that was loud enough to hear down the street, and a neon pink sign above the entrance displayed 'Eden Club'. A guard stood outside the club and I couldn't help but feel bad for him as he stood alone in the heavy rain.

I definitely didn't think I'd end up at an Android sex club today, but here we are.

"Aw... Feels like somebody's playing with a drill inside my skull.." Hank held his head in his hands as Connor stared at him from the driver's seat.

"You sure this is the place?" Hank questioned while staring through the window.

"It's the address in the report"

I sighed as I opened the car door, pulling my hood up as I stepped out.

"C'mon slowpokes, let's get this over with"

I rushed under the roof so I could get out of the rain, Hank and Connor were right behind me. I could still hear Hank complaining about his headache. The guard looked at me as I waited for Hank and Connor to catch up with me, which only took a few seconds.

"Sexiest androids in town.." Hank read from the display beside him.

I'd beg to differ. I think the sexiest android is right behind me.

"Now I know why you insisted on coming here!"

I rolled my eyes at Hank as he walked through the automatic sliding doors.

"Welcome to Eden Club." An automated voice spoke as we walked in.

Hank and I continued past circular glass tubes, which each held a Traci in them. They all smiled and danced around when they saw us walk by, and I couldn't help but frown. These poor androids are locked up all day, only to be used for pleasure.

Noticing Connor wasn't beside us, I turned around and saw him looking at one of the female Traci's. I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy as he looked at her body. I nudged Hank who also turned around, he followed my gaze to Connor.

"Connor! The fuck are you doin'?"

"Coming, Lieutenant"

I sighed as we continued on to the next room, the music was louder here and there were a few androids pole dancing in the middle of the room. More glass tubes lined the walls, each with an android inside.

Connor and I followed Hank, who walked towards Detective Collins. He was talking to who I assume is the owner of the Eden Club.

"Hey, Ben. How's it goin'?"

"It's that room there. Oh, uh, by the way... Gavin's in there too"

That's just fucking wonderful.

I couldn't help but notice Connor visibly tense up and glance at me.

"A dead body and an asshole, just what we needed" I sarcastically said as I rolled my eyes.

All three of us walked through the automatic doors, and into a private room. The dead man laid on the bed, and there was a dead Traci on the floor.

"Lieutenant Anderson, his plastic pet and a friend zoning bitch. The fuck are you doin' here?"

I smirked when I noticed Gavin had a black eye and a busted lip. I glanced at Hank who sent me a wink, which confirmed my suspicion of who did it.
