1914 New Orleans
It was Christmas Eve and the Original family, the Mikaelsons were hosting a party in their home at the French Quarter.
The most stunning woman in New Orleans walked around the ballroom, where the party was held.
Imogen Farien Avery has her long black hair beautifully curled down behind her back. She wore a pure white off-shoulder evening dress with a simple yet beautifully decorated gold mask on her beautiful face, covering half of it and connected to the side of the mask was a stick that she was holding to keep it in place.
She was yet again excited to be celebrating a special holiday with her family, even though they celebrated it so many times for the past centuries.
The other Mikaelsons were getting awfully tired of celebrating Christmas but since Imogen insisted every year to celebrate it, they couldn't exactly say no to her.
The Abbatoir, the home of the Original family was filled with people of every kind, supernatural or not. They were dressed in their finest clothes, women with their fancy gowns and glitzy jewelry, and men with their fancy suits and hats. Both men and women, their soft chattering came to a stop for a mere second as the gorgeous Immortal walked past them.
A soft, happy smile was plastered on Imogen's face as she walked past the guests, oblivious of their lingering gaze on her. She stood by the grand staircase and looked around with a satisfied look on her face.
The Abbatoir was decorated with winter season decorations. The atmosphere was cold due to the snowflakes magically falling down from the ceiling yet the feeling of the people together for the special holiday made it warm. White streamers were hanged on the railings of the staircase and on the balcony with gold and silver stars of every size were decorated on the walls and a huge white artificial pine tree stood magnificently at a corner with numerous gifts as decorations were placed underneath it.
"You have a beautiful home."
Imogen turned her head and saw a pretty blonde woman standing beside her with a smile. She returned the smile and turned to face her before taking off her mask.
"Thank you and thank you for coming." Imogen said happily.
The pretty blonde chuckled softly. "I just came here to meet my family."
Imogen's eyes widen slightly. "Your family?" she asked.
The blonde nodded with a smile on her face. "I desperately wanted to meet them."
