Isla seemed distant and her friends noticed it.
They wanted to talk about their fabulous lives, but she wondered about the mysterious person.
Did they attend her school?
Were they male or female?
Did she know them?
There were so many questions and no answers to her mystery.
She knew she could never ask the person for their identity, but she could keep talking about their life.
Maybe she'd find clues about them in their notes?
Although, if this person was anything like her, they wouldn't be easy to find.
Isla was good at pretending to be perfect.
But so was everyone else.
