Zenaida

My heels clicked on the freshly polished black marbel floor as Demetri had led me down into the dungeon where a calm ton of our enemies had been chained up. Today, however, I had only been targeting a very special someone. Anastasia Cooper-Robins. A trading bitch.

"She's in the ninth cell." Demetri muttered, his deep voice echoing through out the large space.

As I walked down the wide hall, I looked in each cell, noticed some of the more damaged enemies that had been tucked away behind bars, staring down at the floors with no intentions of trying to get out of the chains. I must admit, without them fighting, containing them was no longer humorous to me.

"Hmm." I scoffed, approaching Ana's cell and walking directly through the bars. I had been standing in front of the woman who married the man that I was posed to marry. My lover and my enemy. "Where's the key?"

"Bite me." Replied Ana, looking up into my eyes through her bloody blonde bangs.

"I prefer men." I said cockily. "Anywho, it was told by Curtis that you had intentions of ending my created species. What's it to you?" Ana chuckled softly as she rolled her eyes and fumbled with the chains on her wrist for a bit.

"An abomination, one such as yourself, must not exist. Hope Mikaelson and this future child...must not exist." Said Ana. "As a proud, supernatural racist, I will destroy your kind. No matter how long it takes."

"Ana? My kind is stronger than you think we are. It's not my kind that you want to destroy. It's the Mikaelsons. It is the creations that Hayley and her very handsome baby daddy are making. My kind has done no arm to anyone. It was the siren Matthew Hays and his crew who had given my kind a bad reputation. I may be the queen of hell, but I do not cause destruction just to cause destruction. I do the necessary. And I only have approximately three-thousand-seven-hundred-eighty-two enemies. All members of NHQ. Including Hope Mikaelson and your daughter."

My phone had began to ring after my words, I reached into the pocket of my jeans to pull it out. There had been an unknown number on the phone's screen, however, I answered.

"Zenaida Athens. How can I help you today?" I questioned into the phone's speakers.

"Curtis Adams-Quinn," the familiar voice replied. "Elijah Mikaleson is on his way to the Quinn-Ziegler residence. I've already sent out the message to Niklaus to come pick him up."

"Thank you." I said. "I'll be in touch." I hung up the phone and then stared at Ana, as she had done the same to me, before walking off.

  "When my husband finds me-"

"He won't even try." I interrupted. "He knows about your betrayal. You do not deserve to be the wife a noble man. You also don't deserve to be alive, but I really need that key, and I know that you know where it is."

I continued to walk out of the dungeon, but my attention had been grabbed by rattling chains. So I stopped and waited for the movement to do the same, but it hadn't. Instead, I turned around and noticed a pair of hands grabbing the cell bars as they used the bars to help them stand up.

"What the—Mariana?" The male voice sounded. Vincent Griffith has finally been awake. "Mariana?!"

"Quiet." I said, standing before him, causing him to let go of the bars and stumble back. I used my finger as a key to open the cell and I allowed him to walk out. "Mariana is upstairs already, follow me. And don't try to break out because it won't work."
