When I wake up the sun is shining into my room, covering my bed in its warm glow. I pull the covers up and groan, I didn't want to move, my whole body seemed to ache.

I climb out of bed knowing I needed a big glass of orange juice and some more tylenol. I grab my robe and slip it on over my thin black silk nightgown that hit the top of my thighs. When I walk into the hall I notice that Avery's door is closed, which means she's home.

When I walk into the living room and kitchen I notice Christian sitting on the couch rubbing his eyes, he spots me, "I really was going to leave last night."

I frown, "Then why didn't you?"

He sighs, "Davis spotted Harwell outside. I didn't want to leave you here all alone. And I'm pretty sure Jude came home with Avery a few hours ago."

I sigh and walk into the kitchen to make a pot of coffee.

I look at him, "Didn't you have a meeting this morning?"

He shakes his head, "It got canceled. The man was too hungover."

I nod and fill the coffee pot with water.

He walks into the kitchen and says, "You feeling okay? That alcohol seemed to hit you all at once last night."

I shrug, "My head hurts a bit, and it's probably going to hurt even more in..." I glance at the clock, "What time did they come in?"

He shrugs, "About four."

I nod, "In about ten minutes."

He frowns and gives me a wary look, "Why?"

I shrug, "I know my best friend."

He sighs, "Ahh my brother is that way too."

I open the cabinet, "Coffee?"

He nods and I pull out two cups. I sigh, "I hope Avery bought the coffee creamer."

He smirks, "You rely on Avery for your grocery shopping?"

I shake my head, "Only the small stuff. I do most of it and she does laundry in exchange."

He nods and frowns, "I never do my own laundry or grocery shopping."

I nod, "That's because you're rich and have Davis and Beth."

He nods and leans against the counter as the coffee pours through, "Yeah, but even before then I never did go grocery shopping. There's always been someone else to do it."

I shake my head, "Have you even been into a grocery store?"

He smirks, "Yes I have."

I laugh, "Just checking."

I open up the fridge to take out my york peppermint pattie coffee creamer and ask, "Vanilla, chocolate, or peppermint?"

He steps up behind me, "Is that Hershey's one good?"

I tilt my head back to look up at him, "It wouldn't be in my fridge if it wasn't good."

He grins and says, "Chocolate please."

When I carry it over to him a few minutes later he's sitting on a bar stool, when he sips it his eyes lighten up, "That's good."

I laugh lightly, "I told you."

He flips over the paper he had gotten from the door and frowns at the cover, "Well, we're front page."

I step up beside him and lean over to look at the paper, "Oh jeez I look fat."
