The driver pulls up to the gates of their school. Yumsheng was highly irritable and Feiyi wasn't in a better mood. His usual teasing gaze was gone and his lips were press into a line. The swiftly got into the car and the drive drove off. Yunsheng regularly updates the police on what Shinyi was doing, and he kept communications with Shinyi.

The voice from the other side was now much less hectic than it was previously, only the faint after hiccups were heard. Just as they were halfway home, Shinyi stops crying but then he also stops talking to Yunsheng. His voice became fainter and fainter as the call continued. Yunsheng tries to keep talking to Shinyi, but he only receives some 'mmns' and 'hmms'. He didn't know whether or not Shinyi was injured, so he couldn't just assume randomly for the lack of response.

What if Shinyi was bleeding and his quietness was due to blood loss? Or that he was drugged and it was finally settling into his system? Or that he may have met some trouble. Yunsheng prayed that it was only to due fatigue that Shinyi wasn't responding.

Thud!

Bam!

The sounds came from his phone. Yunsheng's heart stops for a second. He calls out, "Yi'er?"

But nothing had answered him, "..."

He tries again, "Yi'er? Are you okay? Is everything okay?"

Silence sifts in, "..."

His composure cracks a little and he leaks out a small hint of worry in his voice, "Yi'er?"

Again, only silence responds, "..."

Not even the sounds of breathing or footsteps could be heard. Yunsheng's eyebrows draws in together. What just happened? He commands the driver, "You have less than five minutes to get us home."

The driver starts to sweat and answers back subserviently, "Yes, young master."

He presses down on the gas pedal and they shoot off. Yunsheng updates the police one last time before he turns off his phone. Feiyi finally is able to speak to Yunsheng. He asks, "How's everything?"

Yunsheng tosses his phone back to him, "I don't know."

Feiyi furrows his brows, "Don't know?"

Yunsheng looks at his hands, "Mhm, Shinyi stopped responding suddenly."

Feiyi, "The police?"

Yunsheng, "They've been dispatched already. They should almost or be there by now."

Feiyi comforts his worry wort friend, "Don't worry, trust that Shinyi will be alright."

Yunsheng sighs and leans back into the seat, "Un, I know."

The driver roughly got them home just under four minutes. They might've broken about a dozen laws driving as they did, but they made it home at a much faster speed. The police hasn't arrived yet, but their sirens rings from a distance. Not even waiting for the car to fully stop, Yunsheng shoots out of the car like a bullet and runs inside. Feiyi follows behind his crazy friend.

As he catches up, he sees Yunsheng standing still. He looks over and his gazes narrow. Qiu Hua was standing nearby a fallen Nanny Chen and Shinyi. They had visible cuts and red marks all over their bodies.  Pieces of broken bits of glass and smashed cookies were all over the ground. Some of the shards were dyed red from being contamination from the small crimson pool that flows from Nanny Chen and Shinyi.

Yunsheng glares at Qiu Hua and goes over to the unconscious Shinyi. He lifts up Shinyi and dusts off the shards of glass, as he inspects his body. There didn't seem to be any serious injuries and only small cuts and bruises. But he didn't know for sure if Shinyi was alright inside. The pool of blood had stemmed from the laceration on his hand. Suddenly, someone shoves a coat annd handkerchief in him his direction. He looks up to see Feiyi, "I'll wrap his hand with this and use my coat to cover his body."
