I finally found wifi! Thank the Lord! Anyway heres an update and I'll be typing this update in the smallest corner of my hotel room. I always seem to end up sitting or standing at a corner (Don't take that the wrong way)
Chapter 8
Lauren's POV:
It's been 3 days since the movies. I've been texting Jess, Axel, and Shawn all the time mostly Shawn though. I also been seeing the wolf every night hanging out with it and talking with it. I was really excited today because my favorite aunt and uncle were coming over today. I love them so much. It's weird how I actually look more like my aunt then my actual mom with the same brown wavy hair. The way genes work I guess. Anyway my mom told me that my aunt and uncle had a surprise for me today. I can't wait! I always loved their surprises. I quickly got out of bed seeing they would be coming here in about 15 minutes. I ran to the bathroom across the hall and did my bathroom things and came back into my room. I put on some black skinny jeans with a white V Neck t-shirt with my black and white high tops. I also brushed my hair leaving it in waves and not even bothering to put makeup on. As soon as I was finished getting ready I heard the doorbell ring. I sprinted to the door tripping over my own feet in the process but made it to the door anyway practically pulling the door open full force smiling widely at my aunt and uncle.
"Aunt Julie!" I all but scream at my aunt and hug her tightly
"Hey dear how are you?" She asks me
"Really good" I reply but hearing someone clear their throat to my left and I turn to see my uncle
"Well are you gonna hug your favorite uncle or are you just gonna let me stand here all lonely and hug less" My uncle says frowning at the end.
"Sorry Uncle Robert" I tell him before hugging him. I pull away and ask "So what's this surprise I was told of" my aunt and uncle turn to each other and smile and then take a step away from each other revealing a certain boy.
I was shocked at who it was
Axel POV:
When I saw her, I bet we had the same expression on our face. Both of us paled, our eyes bulging out of our eyes and our jaws on the ground. My parents had to be lying they just had too.
'I thought you said we were going to meet my twin sister' I mind linked my parents
'We did and this is her' My mother replies
'But she's.... human' she can't be my sister I reply back'
'We'll explain later' They say at the same time
"Axel?" Lauren asks
"Hmm yea?" I say back
"How are you my surprise?" She asks back clearly confused
"Well we're sort of tw-" I was interrupted by my parents mind link
'shh she doesn't know! She thinks were her aunt and uncle' they tell me
"Were sort of what?" Lauren asks
"Umm... cousins" The shock on her face appeared again
"What??" She turns to my parents "How come I never knew I had a cousin?''
"Well he was always busy with his friend Shawn and saying girls are yucky so, he never wanted to come" My mother replies to Lauren. I just give Lauren a cheeky smile.
I don't understand how were twins because we my parents and I are werewolves and she's human. Even her so called parents which are actually our aunt and uncle and cousins are werewolves. Which is also weird because Shawn told me they were human. Hmm shit just got real. Wait. Shawn. Lauren is Shawn's mate, which means Shawn is mated to my sister. I held back a growl at this.
Lauren invited inside and I decided to sit on the couch and decided to mindlink Shawn
'She's my sister.' I tell him
'Well obviously she's your sister. Isn't that who you told me you were gonna visit' I was about to slap him at this.
'No bro, I mean LAUREN is my sister' I tell him hoping he would understand
'Lauren as in my mate Lauren?' He asked
'No Lauren as in the prostitute on the corner of Your Avenue and Stupid Bulevard' I replied sarcastically
'Wait what?' He replied back. Jesus Christ this boy is so slow
'YES LAUREN YOUR MATE' I finally say agitated at his idioticness
'Wait how's that possible? She's human and your a werewolf. Plus her parents and siblings at the hospital are human. I smelt them!' He says confused
'Well you must of smelled wrong because I'm with them right now and I smell pure werewolf. But on Lauren I smell all human which my parents are gonna explain when we come back to pack house' I tell him back
'Wait. If Lauren's "parents" are werewolves then why did they send her to the human hospital" He asks. I just shrug but realize he can't see it
'I don't know man I don't. Maybe because she's a human or don't want her to know anything about werewolves' I tell him
'Well we will figure this out at the pack house when you come back. I also wanna know how come her "parents" don't smell like rogues because I sure as hell know who's in my pack and I'm certain that they are not in it. See ya later future brother in law.' I was about to say something along the lines of 'if you hurt her Alpha or not, best friend or not, I'll kill you' but he blocked me out.
"So how old are you?" I hear Lauren ask me
"17. You?" I already knew the answer but she doesn't know that. And yes I'm younger then Shawn, but I sure as hell am smarter then him.
"17. When's your birthday?" She asks. Well she's about to be shocked at this answer
"September 21. Yours?" Looks like I was right because her jaw dropped and and her eyes went wide. I put on an innocent face and said "What?"
"My birthday is the same day!" She says still in shock. I put on a fake shocked face and say
"Damn. Do you know what that means?!" I ask and she shakes her head and I just put on a huge grin and said "It means were twin cousins" She stares at me weirdly and starts laughing
"I see how were twin cousins, were both equally weird" She says still laughing
"I bet I'm weirder then you" I say back sticking out my tongue at her
"I beg to differ and I can prove it" She says and I nod at her to go on "Lets fist pound to being twin cousins" I laugh but still fist pound her
"Twin Cousins Unite!" She screams and I just laugh even harder. I think she might actually be weirder then me. But I definitely know she watches too much Spongebob because she says we should get those rings that Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy have and that we should fight crime with our twin cousin power. Hopefully one day when she finds out we can fight crime with our twin sibling power. I smile at that, I know I just met my sister but I already love her.
