Sans and Y/N walked on the path Papyrus took. There weren't many travellers going to Snowdin, so Papyrus' footprints were still rather untouched. Together, Sans and Y/N found that there were two trails of footprints: one was on the path, and the other had come out of the woods. "Look." Y/N pointed out. "Someone walks on the path, a person comes up, and takes them through the woods." She said. "So, we just need to follow their path through the woods!" Sans said. "Yes." They walked through the woods for hours, following the path the skeleton-napper took. "This is a ton of work." Y/N began. "A skele-ton!" Y/N said. Sans face lit up with surprise, his right eyesocket returning to natural black. "Now is not the time to make jokes! We have a bone to pick with some people!" Sans said, smiling. "Oh, Sans! You're such a lazybones!" Y/N said, beginning to laugh. They told jokes until they found a clearing in the woods. "Look! A castle!" Sans pointed out. "Oh my god! They must be hiding Papyrus in there!" Y/N said, her expression going from happy to angry. Sans handed her a dagger. His eyesocket changed to icy blue again. "Let's show these boneheads what's coming to them..." He said, walking out of the woods. Y/N smiled and followed him. "Hey, stupid!" Sans yelled at a cluster of guards. "GIVE ME BACK MY BROTHER!" He levitated them high into the air, and dropped them. Some of them were still willing to fight, so Sans yelled at Y/N to sneak inside while he held them back. She nodded and ran to the other side of the castle. "...stop playing games with me, skeleton. Tell me where the human is!" A male voice yelled. "I-I can't do that t-to-" Papyrus said. "Sir! There's been an attack on the front of the castle!" Another voice yelled. "Alright, skeleton. To be continued." The male voice said. Y/N creeped over to the bars and looked through them. She saw Papyrus chained to the wall. "Papyrus! Over here!" Y/N whispered. He looked up at her. "Y-Y/N?" Seeing Papyrus in this state triggered something within Y/N. She kicked through the bars and slid down into the cell. She grabbed the dagger and cut through the chains that held Papyrus. "Y-You're wearing my cape..." Papyrus said. "I am." She said, cutting through the second hand chain. "Hey! Where did you come from. Y/N turned her head over and saw a guard, his sword drawn, ready to impale her. But, a blue aura surrounded him, and he went floating. Then, he was thrown against the ground. Sans walked out from behind the wall. "We have a clear path." Sans said, and looked at Papyrus. "Pap? W-What did they do to you?" Sans asked, his right eyesocket returning to black. A sword suddenly went through Sans' skeletal frame. "Sans!" Papyrus yelled, as the last chain was cut and he fell to the ground. Sans fell onto the ground, as the king of the castle walked out into view. "Y-You horrible-" Papyrus started saying, but then the king was lifted into the air. "You have to work on that aim. You'll have plenty of time to work on it... IN HELL!!" Sans screamed, throwing down the king as hard as possible. The king's body sounded like a potato chip in a megaphone when he slammed onto the ground. "GET DUNKED ON!" Sans yelled. He then ran over to Papyrus and hugged him as hard as possible. "You are never going anywhere alone AGAIN." He said. "It's alright, Sans. I'm alive right?" Papyrus said, rubbing Sans' head. "Let's go home, guys." Y/N said. Papyrus grabbed ahold of Y/N's hand. "I missed you."
