Prologue

"Stop running", he said grabbing her arm. "What do you want from me?", she said more to herself as she pulled away from him, but he still heard her.

"I want you.", he whispered as his face softened while hers hardened. "Why?", she spat as she couldn't think of any reason for someone to want her.

"Because you're wonderful." he spoke as he walked closer to her. She took a few steps backwards and chuckled.

"Do you want me because I'm wonderful or am I wonderful because you want me?", she asked in great need of an answer.

They stared at each other while a silence filled the room. It wasn't an awkward or comfortable one, just silence.

"Do you see me for who I really am or do you see me for who you want me to be?", she went on further. But he was distraught as he couldn't seem to understand the questions or maybe he didn't want to...
