AMBER AND SAM SAT ON THE FIRST PEW of the church, they watched as Steve and a few other men carried Peggy's coffin down the aisle, as the choir sang. Steve kept a straight face but Amber could visibly see his red and puffy eyes. The men placed the coffin at the alter and returned to their seats. Steve sat down quietly in between Sam and Amber.

The ceremony began and Amber listened to everything, all the stories about Peggy and what she was like. It amazed her.

"And now, I would like to invite Sharon Carter to come up and say a few words" the priest announced, Amber watched as a blonde haired woman made her way up to the podium. She noticed Steve's expression changing when he saw her.

"Margaret Carter was known to most as the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I only knew her as Aunt Peggy. She had this photograph in her office, it was of her standing next to JFK, as a kid, that was pretty cool" Sharon said,

"But it was a lot to live up to, so I never told anyone we were related. I asked her once, how she managed to master diplomacy and espionage in a time where no one wanted to see a woman succeed at either," Sharon continued,

"She said, 'compromise where you can and where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you something that's wrong, is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree and look them in the eyes and say, "No. You move"..." and with that Sharon finished and walked back to her seat silently.

ONCE THE CHURCH had completely been cleared out, Steve, Sam and Amber were the only ones left.

"Steve?" Amber asked hesitantly, Steve didn't look up,

"Can I have some time alone?" He asked, his voice was hoarse and Amber could see what was flashing through his thoughts. Memories of Peggy when they were young, ran from Steve's mind and through Ambers. Sam and Amber walked out of the church, leaving Steve to be alone, he needed time. The two took a seat on the marble steps, outside of the church's entrance.

A familiar woman dressed in all black walked towards them, her flaming red hair, going everywhere because of the cold London wind.

"Nat" Sam greeted the woman, the woman turned to Amber,

"Steve inside?" She asked, looking through the entrance,

"Yeah" Amber sighed,

"Don't bother trying to convince him to sign the accords, his mind is set on not signing" Sam advised her,

Natasha sighed, "I know, what about you two?" She asked,

"You know my answer" Sam said bluntly,

"Amber?" She asked the smaller girl,

Amber snapped out of a small daze, "I don't know, if I sign they'll put me under phycological evaluation, which means being taken away from all of you for months" she said, placing her head in her arms,

"How did you kn-" Natasha began,

Amber let out a breath, "I read minds Nat, you can't hide anything from me. I read Tony's mind and Secretary Ross', they'll rip me apart from inside then try stitch me back together" she said looking down, Sam sat closer to Amber almost protectively,

Natasha looked at the girl sadly, "That won't happen kid",

"But it will" Amber persisted, "Now go see Steve, he needs you",

Natasha nodded and walked into the church without another word. Sam turned towards Amber,"Hey kid, when did you find out about the whole evaluation thing?" Sam asked placing a hand on her shoulder,

"During and after the Sokovia accords were announced" Amber replied,

"And you didn't tell anyone?",

"Nope, I didn't want to be selfish" Amber sighed,

"You would've made a fair argument against The accords, though" Sam said,

"But it would only effect Wanda and I, so I didn't feel the need to tell anyone".

"But we would care, you've been through too much for your age," Sam said placing a hand on Ambers shoulder.

"I didn't want you to worry, you all have too much on your plates at the moment"

"We'll always have time, especially if one of our teammates is in trouble" Sam said, "You know that right?",

"I know"
