The bathroom door opened revealing my 'boyfriend' in one of his sweatshirts and sweatpants.
"How do I look?" Connor come from behind the door and put his hands in his pockets.
"You look handsome. Vanilla?" I looked at her for opinion.
She barked in excitement.
"Guess she likes it too." I smiled.
We are now home just hanging out and trying our new clothes since we were bored. I guess you could say we were having a fashion show of our own. I was getting changed in my room while he was changing in the bathroom. After I had finished putting my one of sweatshirts on, Connor came out of the bathroom. I looked down at the clothes he was wearing, then down to mine, realizing we were matching. We both looked at each other and I chuckled. I heard him mumbled something, but I couldn't make out what he said.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing." He simply replied.
-Connor's POV-
"Cute..." I mumbled.
"What did you say?" She tilted her head.
"Nothing." I looked to the side to avoid her gaze.
"Hmm... Okay." She walked to her bed and sat down to pet Vanilla.
I followed and sat next to her, watching her movements. She picked Vanilla up and smiled brightly.
"Who's a good puppy?"
Vanilla barked in excitement before Aaron let her back down on the bed. Vanilla walked over to me and sat down on my lap, nudging her head under my hand to make me pet her. I gently stroked her head while she laid there. I could hear Aaron chuckle. I looked over to her, her legs crossed, elbow on her knee and her chin in the palm of her hand.
"You look bored." I told her. "Do you want to do something?"
She sat closer to me and pulled my hood up and over my eyes. She giggled but when I pulled my hood back off, she was gone. I looked around the room but she was nowhere to be seen. I set vanilla down to the floor before sneaking around to search for her.
I tried my best not to make any sounds while trying to find her. I tried scanning for prints but there were too many prints all over the house. I checked the guest rooms but she wasn't in any of them. I searched downstairs and in the basement but still no sign of her. Oh, she's good... I had an idea, so I searched for Vanilla. She was sitting on her pillow, looking at me.
"Hey there, Vanilla..." I crouched down to pet her. "Do you want to help me find Aaron?" I whispered.
She barked and stood up.
"Alright, show me the way."
Vanilla began to walk around, sniffing everything. She ran up the stairs before stopping and continuing to search. She sniffed the walk in closet door before looking at me, tongue out. Vanilla stepped back and crouched like she was about to jump at the door. I took it as a sign that she was in there.
"Alright, stay here, Vanilla." I whispered before slowly turning the doorknob.
I entered the room to see clothes neatly hung or folded. They all looked fancy and probably expensive. There were shoes on a shelf and a mirror in the middle of the room. There were shoe boxes underneath the hung clothes and a shelf with more folded clothes on top. Can she even reach those...? I slowly walked further in looking for any movements.
The hung clothes on the left swayed a little and I could see the her legs from behind the boxes and clothes. I smirked. I walked around a little before opening the door. I kept my eyes towards her direction and shut the door, making it seem like I left.
The hung clothes shuffled more and I quietly snuck towards the moving clothes. I prepared myself before quickly sticking my arm in between the material, and pulling Aaron causing her to scream and trip over the boxes. We both fell to the ground while she landed on my chest.
"Aaron, are you alright?" I asked, concerned.
"You fucking scared me!" She sighed. "But I'm fine."
She stood up and brushed herself off before holding a hand out to me to help me up. I looked up into her eyes, seeing her adorable smile. I took her hand and got up off the floor.
"Thanks." I smiled.
"No problem." She grabbed the boxes that fell and stacked them back on top of each other. "I still haven't organized these yet..." She sighed once more. "I'll do this tomorrow." She said and headed for the door.
We walked down the hall way and into her room to see Vanilla, all snug and comfy on Aaron's bed. Aaron walked up to her and gently pet her head, careful not to wake her up.
"I'm just gonna take a shower, so if you want to explore the house, go ahead. Do whatever you want, but just don't break anything." She said while grabbing an over sized hoodie from her small closet.
I was guessing her regular clothes are in there. I nodded, then she entered her bathroom and locked the door. I looked around the room and started going through her things. I was curious of something, curious of what her interests and what she liked were. I was interrupted by a ring tone in my ear. The words 'L.T Hank Anderson' appeared in front of me, and I picked up.
"Lieutenant?"
"I need your help." He was direct.
"Are you in trouble, Lieutenant?" I asked.
"No, but I need help planning a surprise party for Aaron. I don't really do this because I was the only one closest to her, and now that your here, I think she'd really appreciate you." He chuckled.
"We don't have much time. The plan is to get her to come to my place where the small little party will be held. I've already spoke to Jace and the girls about the party. With some help from Kaycee and Jordan, we've got this place cleaned and house decorated. We need food and cake, presents, and all those party things. Find out what she likes, then report back to me. Oh! And don't forget to bring Vanilla."
"Got it." I said about to hang up but he stopped me.
"Wait, Connor! DON'T tell Aaron about this, understand?"
"Understood, Lieutenant." Then he hung up.
