"Well, I'm going to see if these words work for any of these statues! Come find me, I'll be around." Shad poured over my map in awe as I gently took it away. He then nodded, gave the book back with translations on the side, and rushed out with a wide smile on his face. "I think that made him happy." I commented, Link nodded in agreement. "Very." He then pulled the dominion rod out and smiled. "Well, at least it's working again. Let's go to the areas Shad noted." I nodded and looked at the map, seeing many scribbles on it from Link and I. There, in bright red, were the points Shad made in sloppy cursive.

I followed Link up and bit my lip. "Closest one is... East." Link nodded and called for Epona. Ilia's charm hung around my neck. 'Just in case,' Link had said. 'You and I ever get separated.' I don't think it's possible, but who knows. Epona slowed her run to a gentle trot as she neared us, then slowing to a stop. "Hey girl." I whispered holding out my hand to pet her. Link smiled and stretched. "You know what I haven't done in a while? Gone for a run in my wolf form." He yawned and I smiled up at him. "Might as well." I said shrugging. "You need the exercise." I teased as Link slowly got down. "Yeah, yeah. I'll at least lead her out." Link said as I hopped onto Epona.

He took the reigns and walked Epona through the pass and then the gate. He shifted into a wolf and I looked down at him, shaking my head. I couldn't believe it. It's almost been a full six months now. My birthday was coming up soon, very soon. I would be eighteen. Link and I have been together for two weeks. Seeing Link as a wolf now, didn't bother me. I remember seeing Link as a wolf for the first time. I was bloodied, afraid and confused. Seeing a giant, green wolf didn't help that. Growling around at everything. Bright blue eye piercing my soul, it terrified me.

Now, if someone were to point at Link and scream? I'd laugh in their face and say he's as harmless as a blade of grass if you're not threatening us. I shook my head and took the reigns of Epona, looking at her as I began to instruct her forward. I was terrified of Epona, now riding her? I think I could've pissed myself at the speed I was going. Galloping across Hyrule field with a map in one hand and the reigns in the other. A sword, bow and arrows strapped to my back? I wouldn't have believed it. I sighed softly and looked around.

Even after six months I was still as clueless as to who I am. No matter how I try to know, no one seems to know who I am. I have asked around everywhere, no one knows who (Y/n) (L/n) is. I don't even know if I've ever even existed. "This way," I instructed Epona, pulling her head one way as we galloped. We arrived at a statue, it was an owl with a hole in the center. Link shifted back and moved the statue. I walked onto the green plate and opened the book. Letters formed in the word that had been missing characters. My eyes widened and Link walked over to me. "What's up?" He asked and looked into the book. "Woah, that's cool." Link smiled and pulled out my map. "Well, there are more to find anyway, let's go!"

"Is this the book from last time?" Shad questioned as Link handed it to him. "Uh, yeah. I think there's something you missed." He said as Shad opened the book skeptically. He began to read and his face lit up. "Hm? Are there more letters in the word than the last time I looked at this? How did you investigate the... Link, this is amazing! Amazing! Now this must be the word we need! Let's try immediately!" Shad turned to the statue and began to chant lowly.

I watched in awe as a piece of the statue vanished. Link smirked and slowly pulled out the dominion rod. Shad turned around looking excited, yet let down. "Ah! It has taken on the same shape as the other statues... what can this mean? And I thought we had solved the last of the riddles... blast! How confounding! I must apologize, Link. I need to cool off a tad before I mull the problem further." Shad then walked away looking very disappointed in himself. I frowned softly. Poor Shad, if only he knew how much it actually helped us. "Alright, now that he's gone let's move this." Link hissed to me and swiftly pulled the statue away.
