Aria's P.O.V

After having spent the night in the spare bedroom of Uncle Matt's house, unable to sleep and do nothing but think about how I was supposed to go about this situation. I hated to admit it to myself but I was in denial the whole time. I knew who Caleb really was from the moment I saw that photo in Maxwell's house. I just didn't want to believe it. 

I loved the boy. I couldn't imagine someone like him betraying me in that way. It still didn't make sense to my though, why on earth he was doing this? Why did he think he could be with me when I detested his father? And he even knew about all the things that horrid man had done to my family. I knew he didn't get along with his father and didn't like him very much either but to what extent? 

I don't think I would be able to see him for a while. I understand why he may have hidden it but I'm worried now if there's an ulterior motive.

I turned to my side and closed my eyes, trying my best to fall asleep.

But I couldn't. As much as I hated him right now, I couldn't stop loving him and I don't think I would ever be able to. After everything we had been through, my feelings weren't just going to turn off like that.

Caleb's P.O.V

When Aria stopped replying to my texts I felt sick to my stomach. This had never happened before. We always reply to each other, always. We never leave a message unanswered for more than a few minutes if we're both on our phones and if either of us need to go, we say and then don't reply for a few hours but not like this.

I kept messaging her, begging her to text me back. I even called her and left her so many voicemails. I was also tempted to go over to Matt's house and bring her home but I didn't want to do something even worse than what I already must have done.

I couldn't think of a reason she would be like this towards me. We were fine just before she had gone into Matt's house, right?

Right?

I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration as I tried to think of everything I had done to her recently or something I could have ever done to upset her but I came up with nothing.

Unless...

Oh no.

"No! Fuck, no!" I grabbed my phone and immediately called Cole. He didn't answer on the first call, so I called him again, repeatedly until he finally picked up.

"I'm trying to sleep, man, what do you want? Is it urgent?"

"Yes, it's fucking urgent! Listen to me!"

"What is it, ugh, stop screaming?"

"I think...I think Aria found out who I am."

There was a few beats of silence and then I heard Cole release a puff of air in a sigh.

"What you gonna do now, man?"

"I don't know! That's why I called you!"

Cole was quiet again and I could tell he was thinking but I was so impatient right now because I couldn't let this break us apart. She is the only one in the whole world that is holding me together and if she leaves me now, I don't know what I would do.
