fall

231 32 14

You showed me rainbows and sunshine,
Painted sunrises on my spines
And splashed every colour of my soul on the face of sky.
You played with colours until my heart
Forgot what black and white meant,
Until you left and that's when I realised,
You were just the autumn leaves,
Showing your best colours
Before you fell apart and decayed.
