Tartaros Arc

The next day, I bring in some desserts for Gray to try. He takes a bite as he compliments how good it tasted.I told him there was more where that came from. I laid the table out full of sweets as he stood there dumbfounded. Shadow sighs that I went overboard, but I didn't see the problem. I overhear Levy and the others talking about E.N.D. as I took a bite from Gray's dessert in his hand. I ignored his complaints as I chowed it down in frustration.

The next day, we are all at the infirmary. We see the Raijinshu group there and Laxus in the bed, struggling. My eyes widened at the sight as my hands clutched together. My face twitches as Gramps lies to Freed. It hit my heart.

Outside, we speak of Tartaros and how they are after past and present council members. We split into groups to go protect those council members. I leave to go with Mira and Erza to protect the former chairmen. 

We rest our ride as I asked about Jellal to Erza. Mira adds that if she wanted to protect him, Mira and I would be able to protect him. Erza declines that it would be more important to protect the Chairmen. Shadow nods as he tells us to keep going.

At his house, he offers us a cup of tea. I giggled as Erza remembered the memory of before when Natsu tried to save Erza from the council. Shadow tells me to stop laughing as I stifled it down. We talk about Face as my mind couldn't comprehend the fact that even the Chairmen didn't know the details of Face's location. 

My ears perk as my chair fell behind me with the rest of us. I transform into my dragon force as I attacked the guards rushing in. I used my punches and kicks to knock them out with one kick. Shadow stuns some guards as I talon slashed them with my feet. My last attack sending as many guards against the tree with my roar. 

After the incident, I commented how it was so easy for us to beat the soldiers. Then it hit me, I fell to the ground. Before I could fully pass out, I tell Shadow to leave immediately. He didn't drink anything so he fly away with a hesitant expression.

I wake up beside Erza in chains. One of the members of Tartaros walk in as I hissed back. I yelled at her to tell us where Mira is before she punches my stomach. I spat out as Erza yelled at her to stop. As I coughed, she asks Erza was Jellal. 

She suddenly gives us both sensitivity to pain. My eyes whirl as saliva dripped from my mouth. She asked again where was Jellal and she didn't know. She smirks as she attacked me first. I feel the whip snap at my already pained stomach as I bellowed in pain. Tears spilled from my eyes how much it hurt. I breathed heavily as Erza yelled at her to stop. 

She obviously wanted to torture me first so Erza could watch. I bit my lip and faced Erza. I told her I was okay. She hit me a couple times in the back as my head whipped back. I trembled so much, I could hear the chains around me shaking loudly.

She leaves as I hear Erza telling me to stay awake. I was losing my conscious as Erza started yelling profanity. 

Back at the guild No one's POV

Shadow and Happy arrive right on time at the guild to tell everyone the people who have gone missing. Gray is leaning on a wooden pillar as he broke off from the group. He looked down at the ground as Shadow went up to him. He asked if he was okay and Gray couldn't answer. He looked away as he shadowed his eyes. Lucy walks up to Shadow and tells him he's been like that since Raina has been captured. 

He walks to Lucy and holds her shoulder, telling her that he's fine. He pulls a weak smile as he joined back to the group with a stern face. Shadow sighs and tells Lucy that if it wasn't for his strong emotions for Raina and how much he built trust for her, he would have gone berserk. He shudders as Lucy wonders what he means.
