Sneaking in

"Avni will stay with Neela Maa in her house!". Those words kept ringing in Neil's head ever since he heard Bebe say that at breakfast. It was wedding season in the Khanna House as they planned to do Avneil wedding again and Aliya's too.. However this also meant that Neil had to stay away from Avni for all of the wedding festivities and the priest said that the next auspicious date was next month which meant Neil had to stay away from her for one whole month!! "Bebe! Why does Avni have to stay there huh? I mean she can still stay here during the wedding festivities?" Neil asked pleadingly.
"Tillu how can a bride and groom stay together during the festivities huh?" Asked Shweta. Neil then made a puppy face as he wasn't happy with this decision.

In Avneil room, Neil was following Avni like a lost puppy while she was packing. "How could you agree to this?" He asked. "Neil! I can't deny our family wishes". "So they wish for a Tillu last Pillu and we haven't fulfilled that". Avni blushed while Neil smiled at this. "Neil wait for our suhaagraat" she smirked, going close to her and biting his ear. "WhY? We are already married aren't we?". "We are but we never did it properly which is why they want to do it. Plus it's Ali and Riya's wedding too". Neil just pouts. "Not fair that grooms suffer". "Awe my baby" she said as she pulled his cheeks. "Ouch" he said as he caressed his cheeks. She chuckled and placed a soft and long kiss on the cheeks. She then left as Bebe called her. "Not fair Avni. You have to give me the whole treat". "Everything is fair in love and war Tillu" she smirked before she left.

That night Avni left and Neil felt as if a part of his heart left. Both were feeling restless without each other's warmth. Neil tried sleeping and pulled out his phone and texted her

Neil: hey
Avni who was trying to sleep became elated when she saw his text.
Avni: Hi!😊
Neil smiled at that: Some one seems excited to see me
Avni: it's nothing like that. I'm just bored
Neil: Awe I didn't know that my baby misses me a lot
Avni: 😒. I don't ok. I just can't sleep
Neil: what a coincidence?! Neither can I
Avni: I can't wait for our wedding
Neil: me either. I can't wait for our suhaagraat
Avni: do you have anything else but a single track mind?
Neil: not when it comes to you
Avni: shameless! Anyway I wanted to say something
Neil; what?
Avni: Thank you
Neil: for what?
Avni: I can't tell u now but maybe later

Neil kept thinking about what Avni wanted to thank him about. The next few days passed on quickly and the wedding festivities started. The events were filled with naughty romance of Neil. It included him putting Haldi on her bare waist creating shivers in her body and his lips grazing her cheeks and neck. It included him feeding her drinks and food when she had henna. She would have food on the corner of her lips while he would suck the food if there saying it was more tasty that way. During sangeet, they dance romantically with his fingers touching her stomach and him nuzzling in her neck. He once pulled her to the corner away from everyone else."Neil! What are you doing?". "You look so hot!" He exclaimed as he held her waist. "Neil leave me. Someone will see us". "Not without a kiss". Avni sighed and went close to his lips. He pouted but instead felt something on his nose. She kissed him on the nose instead! "What was that!". "You asked for a kiss and that's what you got on the nose" she said smiling cheekily. Neil shook his head at his Ajooba as he left her

Later that night she was about to change when she felt that she saw something. She turned around and saw a shadowy figure on the balcony. She grabbed a stick and turned towards the figure. She approached the figure and started beating him. "Avni! Avni! It's me Neil!". Avni gasped. "Neil what are you doing?". "I was missing you so I thought why not meet you". "God I can't do anything about you. Couldn't you wait just a little more?". Neil held her waist and pulled him closer. "No" he said nuzzling his nose on her cheek. Avni smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. He proceeded towards the bed and pushed them on the bed. He started kissing her shoulder while she started flinching. He immediately stopped. "What happened?" she asked. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable" he stated truthfully. Avni smiled at this and mentally thanked god for bringing Neil in her life. "Neil can I ask you something?" she asked as she put her head on his shoulder and intertwined their fingers. "Go on". "Why are you such a good person? Like you went into the police to save people. You respect women and you accepted me". "Well Avni I don't really have an answer for this but I will say that part of the reason is you. You inspire me to go work and fight for justice. You are my justice and my strength. I couldn't do anything without you and to be honest I never thought about that you were illegitimate. I knew that you suffered so much and for some reason I didn't want you to suffer. Of course that time I didn't know it was love but now I just want to spend the rest of my life with you". "Me too". They then shared a soft but passionate kiss

The next morning, Avni woken up being spooned in Neil arms. After a long time, they felt each other's warmth and slept peacefully. She gave him a peck on the lips to which he reciprocated softly too. "Wifey I want to take you somewhere". Avni nodded and both left quietly and rode the bike. Avni wrapped her arms around his waist while he rode the bike to the cliff where they saw the sunrise. That was special to them as it showed the symbols of their names. The sky touched the earth meaning Neil being with Avni, showing the strength of their love and the bond of it
