For the first few days aboard the ship Creed mostly avoided the older two clones, hiding in his room and slinking out from time to time to eat once he regained his appetite. Specter occasionally asked him if he was alright an why he'd run away. Creed had just told him he wanted to get off Kamino and left it at that. They didn't need to know. Creed didn't know if he trusted them not to tell anyone and he couldn't risk being found.
They were about a week into the trip before Creed started to grow more comfortable around the older two clones, though. He came out more often and sometimes talked to Specter, telling him little bits and pieces of his life, but making sure to leave any mentions of Haze out of it.
When he woke up on Saturday morning, though, he noted that the rumble of the engines was gone from the ship and the deck wasn't vibrating softly. They must have landed somewhere, or else something had happened.
Swinging out of bed, Creed silently stalked through the halls of the ship towards the cockpit. He didn't see anyone in the halls and there was no yelling or shouting. It seemed all was safe.
The cockpit confirmed that as Creed stepped inside to find it empty, but the viewport showed a busy port down below. It looked something like Nar Shadda if Creed had to guess from the images he'd seen before. Skate and Specter weren't in the cockpit, though, and Creed wondered if they'd left the ship.
He wandered down towards the ramp to see if it was open and found that it was indeed. There was something like a cloud of warm air at the top of the ramp as the exterior atmosphere's heat seeped into the ship. Creed stayed back some in the cool AC of the ship. He peered out at all the aliens walking by and he could hear the din of the crowds. He wondered if he should go down and explore. It might be fun to get out and see the universe.
And get yourself killed or lost, Creed reminded himself. He couldn't let childish curiosity get in the way and get him injured, lost, or dead.
Turning away from the ramp, Creed headed up to the kitchen and found something to eat while he waited. He wandered the ship and watched the crowds for several hours, waiting on Specter and Skate's return. Eventually he thought he spotted the two in the crowd, returning with what looked like a whole hoard of tiny aliens, and one taller alien man that looked like the species Zabrack.
Getting up quickly, Creed bolted down to the ramp as they arrived and he stood by as Specter and Skate hurried up the ramp, the Zabrack trailing behind them as they rushed to get all of the small aliens onboard. They all looked a little bit like small version of the Zabrack, and Creed assumed they were all kids. Two were walking on their own, one of them looking about Creed's age and supporting a very frail cadet.
Creed bolted over there to help the cadet and his friend, noting the cadet was his age, and looked assassin class as well based on the color of his hair. There seemed to be a lot of assassins here, and Creed didn't know how or why, but he didn't mind.
He helped the other Zabrack boy get the cadet onto the ship, then the cadet collapsed and the Zabrack knelt beside him, picking him up some. Creed looked up to see Specter handing off what looked like two of the baby zabracks to Skate as he moved over to help the cadet up.
"Hey, Creed, can you go help Skate find some blankets and food for all the babies?" he asked.
Creed nodded and ran after Skate, following him to the medbay. There seemed to be a lot of baby Zabracks, but they were quieter than any babies Creed had ever seen. A little too quiet.
Skate told him to get out some of the blankets and Creed ran over to the drawers, pulling out about five blankets and carrying them back to Skate. Skate did his best to instruct Creed as they laid out the blankets across the medbay bed, draping them across the side supports to make something like a giant crib.
