Lillian Baker knew from the moment she was a small child her life was not average. She knew her life was not normal, or standard, or ordinary. Nevertheless, she would never imagine it would once become this extraordinary.
Lily was an Auror in the United Kingdom, but she was called in by the MACUSA only a few months ago. They were asking for her help with an attack that had happened in New York. In Britain, she was head of Care for Magical Beasts, and the attack in America was for sure not human originated.
Lilian worked for a few weeks with Porpentina Goldstein, but Tina had been discharged from her position as Auror due to some complications with a Muggle under the name of Lou Barebone. Lily did not approuve of her new friend's discharge. Not only she thought it to be unfair, since she was only 21, four years younger than Tina herself, but also she liked Tina, she was her only friend.
Lillian had always had some trouble making friends. All the people she met were either too blunt and mean, or they were simply double faced lying snakes. There was no in between until she met Tina, who seemed to be the perfect mix of the two.
Tina was a very kind woman, but she would always tell the truth. She wouldn't tell you you looked good in a dress if it were a lie, but she would break it out to you in the nicest way possible.
Lily thought her investigation was going nowhere, until she met a very strange man, and her life was completely turned around.
