Chapter 38 - Heartfelt Camp

Miyoko and Raika nods happily at my shout.

"Camp! Sounds great!" Miyoko said Cheerfully.

"If Tegemi goes with the kids she'll surely cheer up." Said Raika grinning.

"Right!"

And so, the children gather, feeling the cheerful atmosphere.

"When ish big swister gwoing two cwum?" asked little Misaki.

(Cum? I haven't gone that far so I don't know...) I wonder as  i lift little Misaki who's eager to be carried.

"Let's go with everyone here!" suggested Keita.

"Huh? Everyone...us, too?" asked Kasumi.

"Awe, that's nice." Smiled Miyoko.

"But...we'll hold back on you ladies."

"Right, Rather than us, you want to take Big sister Tegemi and Big sister Yomiko instead."

"Those two, love camping~" said Raika.

"Eh! Really!" said little Keita

"Well then, we absolutely have to invite them!" said little Aki

"Oh, but..." just then, Rei looks like she's recalling something.

"Didn't Yomiko, say she has worked this weekend?"

"Huh? Did she?"

"Then, for the moment, how about you go camping with Tegemi, Mina." suggested Kasumi.

"Right." Supported Raika.

"Leave Yuu to us! We'll be sure to cheer her up." She added.

"So, Mina, we leave Tegemi to you." Said Miyoko

"Got it! Thanks!"

And so...

While the Famille' members are playing with the children.

I make a call to Tegemi.

(I want to tell her about the camp!)

I call on my cell, and after a bit...Tegemi answers the call.

"Hello? Mina, what is it?"

"Oh...sorry for calling suddenly, is now a bad time?"

"No, it's fine..."

After a single breath, I continue.

"Uh...Tegemi, about this weekend..."

"Yeah?"

"W-Would you like to go camping?"

"Camping...?"

I briefly explain about the orphanage camping trip.

"I see...Camping, huh...?"

"Speaking of which, when I was there we went camping around this time of the year..."

"Oh, I see..."

"So then, will you go once more? I'm sure it'll be really fun."

"and with the kids, I'm sure you'll enjoy it."

"Yeah..."

"Got it...They finally invited me, so why not, sure I'll come with you."

"Y-yeah!"

Somehow, I managed to get her to promise to come camping.
