I love the Mendes army with my whole heart

***

I was awakened by Lily's quiet giggles, followed by everyone shushing her. I felt a cold hand on my jawline, stabilizing my face. Something, presumably a sharpie, was pressed on my cheek, drawing lines and circles. I don't know why I didn't try to stop it as soon as it happened, but I didn't. The marker was removed from my face, followed by the hand.

"Do we wake her up now?" I heard Sammy ask in a hushed tone.

"Yeah, I think. Everyone act natural." Gilinsky said. There was a few shuffles, then silence. I felt the couch sink down next to me.

"Dude, should I do it? Will she hate me?" I heard Shawn whisper.

"Probably, but do it anyways." Gilinsky replied. I could practically see Shawn rolling his eyes at him as he exhaled. He gently placed a hand on my shoulder and delicately shook me. I did my best to act like I was just waking up, opening my eyes and squinting at him.

"What the fuck do you want?" I mumbled. I could see him trying not to burst out into laughter.

"Good morning to you too." He said, smiling to cover up the laugh. I squint at him even harder.

"Is there something on my face? What's so funny?" I placed both of my hands on my cheeks, patting them before bringing them back and looking at them.

"Nothing, you just look really cute." Shawn covered up. My heart rate increased slightly every time he complemented me, I don't know why. It never did when anyone else said something nice, it was weird that it was just Shawn.

"You don't. Your hair is worse than G's, and that's really saying something." I observed.

"It's-"

"Why do you have to be so fucking rude?" Gilinsky interrupted Shawn.

"Why does it have to look like god got lazy and put a birds nest on your head instead of hair." I retorted. He gasped and put his hand on his chest in fake hurt.

"And your saying my hair looks worse?!" Shawn complained. I looked at him and wrinkled my face.

"Yes. God must've gotten really lazy with you." I said, making a disgusted expression.

"Gilinsky's right, you are rude." Shawn smirked.

"I'm not being rude, you just can't take the truth." I stuck my tongue out at him. I was kinda a hypocrite, my hair probably looked worse than both of theirs combined.

Shawn didn't respond, instead biting his bottom lip and glancing at mine. He moved slowly towards me, and once he got close enough where I thought he would kiss my lips, he changed his route and his lips attached to my neck. He sucked on the spot under my ear, and I tried not to moan. I gathered up all of the willpower in me to gently push him off of me. He smirked once I could see his face.

"What are you thinking?" I whisper harshly.

"What's the big deal, they know." He said, referring to our friends.

"Oh, fuck it." I responded. He smiled and laughed lightly, god, he was beautiful. He leaned in toward my face until our foreheads were touching, still chuckling. I couldn't resist smiling back at him and giggling a little as the butterfly's in my stomach started fluttering wildly.

"You're so cute." Shawn said, pecking my lips once before connecting them. His mouth moved against mine and I immediately reacted, kissing him rhythmically. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me onto his lap, making me yelp against his lips. We continued kissing and I slung my arms over his shoulders. He swiped his tongue over my bottom lip then slipped it into my mouth. We go back and forth, both trying to gain dominance. I guess we got really into it, because after what seemed like a few seconds, we were rudely interrupted.
