The worn-down playground swing creaked throughout the empty front yard, amplifying how lonely it was to be there.

The diverse shades of red, orange, and yellow of the autumn leaves were trying their best to bring a sense of warmness to the cold atmosphere, but that attempt was unsuccessful.

From a distance, one might smile at the sight. They would see the few giggling children and hear their pitter-patting foot steps, watching them bathe within the piles of colourful leaves.

However, if they looked more closely; the scene was a whole other story that was frankly opposite from what it seemed to be at first glance. What the naked eye sees, isn't always the truth.

They all saw lies,

while the boy watched torches burn.
